Candidates would have acquired knowledge to apply in the development of embedded systems, wireless networks, VLSI designs, and allied technologies, and will also be fully equipped to take up research in related and interdisciplinary areas.
The programme provides students with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of electronics and communications engineering through courses such as Analog & Digital Communications, Digital Logic & Circuits, Coding & Information Theory, etc.
The programme then provides mastery over advanced topics in Embedded Systems, Wireless Broadband Communications and Digital Signal Processing to enable students to straddle the overlapping fields of Electronics, Communications and Computer Science.
It is a two-year course which will allow an individual to engulf the altitudes and concepts related to the Electronics and its application of Telecommunication in it.
The course will have a subjective and pre-conceived notion which is related to the concepts first and then connect that to the applications of the same.
The following are some of the subjects which are related to the M.Tech Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering syllabus of the course:
Modern Digital Communication Techniques
Information Theory, Coding, and Cryptography
Telecommunication Switching and Networks
Analogue Integrated Circuit Design
Microwave and Antenna Engineering
The eligibility criteria for the course is to complete the B.Tech degree with a minimum of 50% in the corresponding subjects.
The courses rather than offering the Placement opportunities for the course also provide Internship opportunities to the professionals in some of the reputed and ceramic companies of the nations.
Students undergo the complete idea-to-product development life cycle from circuit design, PCB design and fabrication, PCB assembling and testing, product packaging including designing and fabrication of the housing.
They also get exposure to modern manufacturing processes through working with CNC machines.
The course is also beneficial for further studies such as M.Phil as it gives a good base for it.
Service Engineer
Technical Director
Field Test Engineer
Senior Sales Manager
