What is UPES DAT 2021?
UPES DAT 2021 will be conducted by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES). This exam is conducted every year to offer admission to candidates in a design program offered by the college. UPES offers design courses both at an undergraduate and postgraduate level to candidates under its Social of Design Studies (SoDS).

UPES DAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should bear in mind that they will need to clear the eligibility criteria which is set by the UPES. If it is found at any stage that any candidate doesn't fit in the UPES DAT eligibility standards, then their candidature will be cancelled.
- B.Des Eligibility: Candidates must have at least 65% in Class X and Class XII to apply for the UPES B.Des program 2021.
- UCEED and JEE Main Score: Candidates with a valid JEE Main / UCEED score can apply for UPES DAT 2021 if they have an aggregate of 50% in Class X and Class XII.
- M.Des Eligibility: Candidates must have at least 50% in Class X and Class XII to apply for the UPES M.Des program 2021
- Age: Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1996, are eligible for admission. Date of birth as given in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be considered valid.

Candidates can fill the UPES DAT 2021 application form either online or offline.
Offline Mode
UPES DAT 2021 application form and prospectus can be purchased for INR 1750/- personally from the admission counter at Ahmedabad, Delhi, Cochin, Coimbatore, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Dehradun, Kolkata, Mumbai.

In the online mode, candidates can fill the application form from the official website of the college.
- Visit www.upes.ac.in
- Click on the link as per the domicile status - Indian resident or foreign resident.
- A signup form is displayed. Sign up to apply the examination.
- Fill up all the details including the program that you are not interested in.
- Click on the "submit" button.
- You will receive an email on the registered email-id.
- Click on the link provided in the email from UPES to verify your email id.
- Now your account is activated.
- Now fill up the application form online and follow the instructions there.
- After submitting the application form, pay online for UPES Prospectus and application form.
- After completing the submission process successfully, take a copy of the completed application form for your future references.
- On the successful submission of your form, you will get an online application/registered number. Please store this number for future references.

- Step 1: Firstly, you need to go to the official website of UPES DAT Exam i.e. www.upes.ac.in
- Step 2: Then you have to click on the registration tab for Foreign National or an Indian candidate/ choose the tab as per your domicile status.

UPES DAT 2021 Admit Card
With the submission of UPES DAT application form, admit card will be issued to eligible candidates a few days before the entrance test. All the admit card will be released online. Candidates need to download and take a print-out of their UPES DAT admit card from the official website.

UPES DAT Cutoff 2021
UPES DAT will announce the cutoff of UPES DAT 2021 for admissions to B.Des courses for the session 2021-21 soon after the declaration of the result. Candidates need to secure the cut off marks or minimum percentage of marks required for admission to B.Des and M.Des courses offered by UPES. Those who secure the minimum cutoff are called for the counselling process.
UPES DAT 2021 Counselling
UPES will conduct the counselling of UPES DAT 2021 only for those candidates who have cleared the entrance test. Those who are eligible based on their JEE or UCEED ranks will have their names listed on the merit list released on the official website.
- The counselling for admission will be conducted separately for the JEE Main 2021 and UCEED qualified candidates.
- UPES will follow centralized counselling for UPES DAT 2021.
