What is MAHE OET Exam?
MAHE offers admission into 218 programs in 19 different disciplines through MAHE OET. It offers courses in the areas of Architecture, Communication, Dentistry, Engineering, Information Sciences, European Studies & Foreign Languages, Hospitality, Humanities, Basic & Advanced Sciences, Life Sciences, Management (MBA), Medicine, Geopolitics & International Relations, Natural Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, Allied Health, Regenerative Medicine and Pharmacy. MAHE OET is also known as the MET, the Manipal Entrance Test.
MAHE OET is a University level entrance test conducted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education for all the eligible candidates. MAHE also offers courses like B.Sc, BPT, BA, BBA, D. Pharm, B. Tech, M.Sc., etc. are also offered.

- Date of Application: The MET (Manipal Entrance Test) 2021 online application form will be released on December 11, 2020 and the last date for registration is March 15, 2021. Once candidates have booked an exam slot they can download the MAHE OET admit card.
- Exam Dates: Exams will be conducted on different dates for various programs. The entrance test will be held in two phases for the year 2021. Each phase will be held for four days continuously.

MAHE OET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
There is no age limit set as the criteria for the candidates to appear for MAHE OET 2021. For a candidate to be eligible for MET 2021 , he/she should have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in their stream of study. The candidates must have studied Physics, Mathematics, and English in class 12th. Candidates from India and other countries (including NRI) can apply for the university's courses.
Candidates have to check for the MAHE OET 2021 eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Eligibility criteria are not similar for different courses.
MAHE OET 2021 Syllabus
In MAHE OET 2021, questions are from General English, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Mathematics. The questions for the MET 2021 will be asked to assess the knowledge of candidates based on 10+2 syllabus followed by major 10+2 Boards/Universities.

MAHE OET 2021 Exam Pattern
MAHE OET is a computer-based test and the duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The MAHE OET Exam pattern varies for different courses that the candidate is applying for through the MAHE OET 2021.

Marking Scheme: In MET 2021 for B.Tech, M.Sc and M.Tech exam 4 marks will be awarded for a correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. For other courses in MAHE OET 2021 for every correct answer, one mark is awarded and there is no negative marking.
Candidate's score will be displayed on the screen after the exam. Candidates must write the score in the printout of the scorecard in the presence of the invigilator.

Steps to apply for MAHE OET are as follows:
- Candidates need to visit the official website and enter their basic information.
- Once they submit their details, candidates will receive application number and password through the email id which they provided during registration.
- Then candidates have to enter various contact details such as an address, pin code, city, etc. and click on "Submit and Continue".
- Now they will be redirected to a page where they have to enter their education qualification details.
- Now you have to click on "Submit and Continue".
- Candidates will have to choose test centres and make payments.

How to prepare for MAHE OET?
Students who are planning to appear for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) should start their exam preparation at least two months in advance. So, the candidates have to create a preparation strategy for MAHE OET 2021 , based on the following tips:
Concentrate on Important Topics - Make sure that you give more time for topics or subjects that are difficult for you. If you find any particular type of questions difficult, solve them again later.

Candidates can download their MAHE OET 2021 Admit Card once they have booked their exam slot through Online Test Booking System (OTBS). Admit Card will be released on the official website of MAHE.
Admit cards will contain various details like applicant's name, the name of the exam, exam centre, register number, course selected for admission, etc.
MAHE OET Slot Booking
Candidates have to book their online exam slot which is comfortable for them, and they will have to attend the MET on the allocated slot. Candidates are advised to book their slot as soon as possible as it is first-come-first-serve. Therefore, they have to book the slots early to get their desired time slot for MAHE OET.
Candidates can book their exam slot through Online Test Booking System (OTBS). Once the candidate has selected a slot, the slot will be booked within 24 hours to download their MAHE OET Hall Ticket.
How to download the MET Admit Card?
After you book your test slot, you can follow the instruction below to download your MAHE OET, Admit Card.
- Go to the official website of MAHE OET.
- Click on the link which is provided to download admit card.
- Enter your credentials which are your application number and password that you received during registration.
- Now submit it and you will be able to view your MET admit card.
- Take a print out in an A4 Size Sheet.
