AILET 2026: Application Form (Out), Exam Date (Dec 14), Admit Card, Cut-Off, Answer Key, Result

The AILET application process has started from Aug 7, 2025, and will end on Nov 10, 2025. AILET exam will be conducted on Dec 14, 2025. NLU Delhi has revised the AILET 2026 exam date and the registration date. Students must keep a note of the revised dates. 

The AILET application form 2026 will be available on the official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Only candidates who meet the AILET 2026 eligibility criteria can complete the application form and take the exam.

AILET result 2026 is expected to be announced in the second week of Dec 2025, and it is declared based on the final answer key, which was also released on the same date. 

NLU Delhi has reduced the qualifying test percentage from 55% to 50% for general category candidates applying to the LLM and Joint Master's/LLM in Intellectual Property (IP) Law and Management courses through AILET. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum percentage necessary to apply for these courses is currently 45%.

Eligible applicants can take the entrance test for admission to BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, and PhD in Law programs. AILET 2026 Registration

AILET 2026 application form has been released on Aug 7, 2025. AILET registration last date will be Nov 10, 2025, and is available on the official website at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Candidates must upload their Category Certificate, Passport Size Photograph, and Signature while filling up the form. In case of any errors, candidates can edit or change their application form through the AILET 2026 application form correction window facility.

Fee Exemption: A hundred percent exemption in fee is provided to the candidates from the SC/ ST/ BPL category.

AILET 2026 Application Steps

To complete the application form for the AILET 2026 exam, candidates can follow the steps below: 

• Step 1: Visit the official AILET portal at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
• Step 2: Click the "Register" link and enter the following information: name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email address, religion, and category.
• Step 3: To complete the registration, enter the OTP that was sent to you via email or SMS.
• Step 4: Your AILET Candidate Account will be successfully created once you have submitted all of the essential information.
• Step 5: Fill out AILET 2026 application form and provide a scanned copy of your signature and a passport-sized photo.
• Step 6: Check all of the information you submitted. If the information provided is correct, please pay AILET 2026 application fee.

AILET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for AILET 2026, a candidate must check all the eligibility criteria mentioned below. AILET 2026 eligibility criteria must be reviewed carefully by the candidate before filling the application form, to avoid the risk of the application form getting rejected during the admission process.

Educational Qualification

Depending on the reservation for the category or according to the general merit cut off of AILET, the candidate must have scored 50% of aggregate marks in the 10+2 qualifying examination for LLB, in the LLB qualification exam to apply for LLM and similarly in the LLM examination to apply for Ph.D.

Minimum Scoring: Candidates must have scored a minimum of at least 50% marks in 10+2 to seek admission for a five-year integrated Law program. To aim for admission into the LLM program at NLU Delhi, the candidates must have scored at least 55% marks in aggregate of the subjects in the LLB paper to qualify for an LLB degree or equivalent.

Exemption: A 5% relaxation in the qualifying exam is given to the candidates from the SC/ ST/ PwD categories.

Age Limit

Candidates above 18 years of age are eligible for AILET 2026.

AILET 2026 Admit Card

National Law University (NLU Delhi) will release the AILET admit card 2026 in the fourth week of Nov 2025 for students who will submit All India Law Entrance Test 2026 forms. Students can download their AILET hall ticket from the National Law University Delhi's official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The login information for downloading AILET 2026 admit card would be the registered mobile number and password.

The admit card notifications are given to registered candidates via push notifications from the Getmyuni website. The applicants are advised to subscribe to the notifications to be updated on the release of important details.

How To Download AILET 2026 Admit Card?

To download the admit card, the candidates must enter their login ID/ application number and password. Follow the steps mentioned below to download AILET admit card.

• Step 1: Go to the official website of NLU Delhi nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
• Step 2: Click on the 'AILET Admit Card' link.
• Step 3: Enter the application number and other credentials, and fill in the captcha code.
• Step 4: Click on the login and AILET admit card will appear on the screen.
• Step 5: Review AILET admit card thoroughly if there is an error, complain about this issue immediately at the helpdesk or go to the 'Admit Card Correction Window' on the official website.

AILET 2026 Exam Pattern

AILET 2026 will be conducted using pen and paper. The NTA will conduct a mock test adhering to AILET exam pattern so that the candidates can comprehend the changes made in AILET 2026 examination process. The mock test details will be declared soon after closing the application process.

AILET notice will be released for PWD candidates. According to the notice, all PWD candidates will be given an extra 30 minutes to complete the exam. Hence, the exam duration for PWD candidates will be 2 hours, while for general candidates, it is 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Furthermore, the NTA will be providing students with instructions and a mock test before AILET 2026 exam. The candidates should check the official website for any new information.

AILET 2026 exam has a negative marking. For every incorrect answer given, the applicant will lose 0.25 marks. The majority of the scores for AILET exam are from the MCQs. The applicants will also have to write an essay and the split of marks is given below.

For BA LLB: The AILET 2026 exam for BA LLM will be conducted for 150 marks and will last 90 minutes.

For LLM: The exam for LLM will be conducted for a total of 150 marks in which there will be 100 MCQs each carrying one mark and an essay for 50 marks.

AILET 2026 Result

National Law University (NLU), Delhi, will declare AILET result 2026 for BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programs on the official website at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in in Dec 2025. Candidates must check their qualifying status and download the scorecards from the official website using their registered mobile number and password.

NLU Delhis publishes the third merit list for BA LLB (Hons.) course in the second week of June 2026.

After the result declaration, the second merit list will be released in the second week of Jan 2026. The merit list is released in a PDF file with the application number, roll number, marks, and the ranks of candidates who have qualified for the counselling process. To confirm their admission, chosen candidates must pay a provisional admission confirmation fee of INR 50,000. The first provisional merit list of selected candidates will be released in the fourth week of Dec 2025. 

The final answer key is also released along with AILET results 2026. Take a print of the scorecard which can be used in future processes.

AILET 2026 Counselling

The counselling process will conclude with the seat allotment and payment of the first-semester fee and the admission fee. A candidate must submit the fee in due course to retain the seat. The counselling can take two or more rounds, depending on the seats filling.
