AILET 2024 counselling schedule was released by the National Law University, Delhi. According to the schedule, AILET counselling round 3 provisional merit list for LLB has been declared on Jan 23, 2024. Shortlisted candidates must confirm their seats by depositing the balance fee of INR 50,000.  Candidates who want to confirm their admission can pay the admission fee till Jan 28, 2024. Candidates can download the merit list from the official website at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

Earlier, AILET counselling round 2 provisional merit list for LLB was released on Jan 10, 2024, and AILET counselling 2024 LLM provisional merit list for round 2 was released on Jan 9, 2024. AILET counselling 2024 round 2 admission process for LLB and LLB ended on Jan 15, 2024. 

All India Law Entrance Test or AILET is the entrance exam for students who intend to prsue their education in the top Law colleges in India. The National Law University, Delhi, conducts AILET.

AILET 2024 Counselling

AILET counselling 2024 process is ongoing. The  AILET counselling 2024 round 3 provisional merit list for BA LLB has been declared on Jan 23, 2024. Shortlisted candidates can confirm their candidature by paying the admission fee before the last date. The admission fee payment window for the third merit list candidates will be open till Jan 28, 2024. 

Earlier the AILET counselling 2024 for the second list of LLB and LLM was conducted from Jan 10-15, 2024 and Jan 9-15, 2024, respectively. Shortlisted candidates who fail to pay the admission fee, their seats will be cancelled and allotted to the next candidate in order of merit list from the waiting list. 

In addition, NLU Delhi released the AILET 2024 list of provisionally selected candidates on Dec 19, 2023, for PhD programme who are eligible for the submission of research proposals. The conducting body also stated that the total weightage of the research proposal and interview is 50% in the admission stage for PhD in Law Programme through AILET 2024.

The counselling process will conclude with the seat allotment and payment of the first-semester fee along with the admission fee. A candidate must submit the fee in due course to retain the seat. The counselling can take two or more rounds, depending on the seats filling.

Schedule: Once AILET 2024 merit list and answer key are published, the counselling process starts and the eligible candidates must attend the counselling without fail.

Process: Before the allotment of seats, the process of document verification takes place in which the candidate's original certificates will be cross-checked.

Documents Required for AILET 2024 Counselling Process

The qualifying candidates must bring along the following original documents at the time of AILET 2024 counselling for the verification process.

  • Class 10 and 12 Mark Sheets
  • Character Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate
  • AILET Score Card

AILET 2024 Result

National Law University (NLU), Delhi, has declared AILET result 2024 for BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programs on Dec 13, 2023, on the official website at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Candidates can check their qualifying status, and download the scorecards from the official website using their registered mobile number and password.

After the result declaration, the merit list will be released as a PDF file with the application number, roll number, marks, and the ranks of candidates who have qualified for the counselling process.

The final answer key has been released along with AILET results 2024. Take a print of the scorecard which can be used in future processes.

AILET 2024 final answer key has been released on Dec 13, 2023, along with the results. Candidates can download their final answer key without any login credentials on the official website at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

Earlier, AILET provisional answer key 2024 was released on Dec 10, 2023, on the official website. The initial AILET 2024 answer key will be provisional and can changed upon valid challenges raised by the candidates. The final AILET answer key 2024 was on the basis of the evaluation process.

AILET 2024 Registration

AILET 2024 application form was released on Aug 7, 2023, on the official website at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Candidates can register for the exam till Nov 15, 2023. AILET 2024 registration is an online process in which the candidates must enter their personal, contact, and academic details while filling out the application form for AILET exam.

Candidates must upload their Category Certificate, Passport Size Photograph, and Signature while filling out the form. After registration, candidates can edit or make changes to their application form through the application form correction window facility.

AILET Registration Fee

The fee amount for AILET 2024 application form is INR 3050 however, for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates the fee is INR 1050. Candidates must take utmost care while filling out the application form to eliminate the possibility of causing any errors. The fee can be submitted using net banking/ debit card/ credit card. Take a receipt of the same for future reference.

Fee Exemption: A hundred percent exemption in fee is provided to the candidates from SC/ ST/ BPL category.

AILET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for AILET 2024, a candidate must check all the eligibility criteria mentioned below. AILET 2024 eligibility criteria must be reviewed carefully by the candidate before filling the application form, to avoid the risk of the application form getting rejected during the admission process.

Educational Qualification

Depending on the reservation for the category or according to the general merit cut off of AILET, the candidate must have scored 50% of aggregate marks in the 10+2 qualifying examination for LLB, in the LLB qualification exam to apply for LLM and similarly in the LLM examination to apply for Ph.D.

Minimum Scoring: Candidates must have scored a minimum of at least 50% marks in 10+2 to seek admission for a five-year integrated Law program. To aim for admission into the LLM program at NLU Delhi, the candidates must have scored at least 55% marks in aggregate of the subjects in the LLB paper to qualify for an LLB degree or equivalent.

Exemption: A 5% relaxation in the qualifying exam is given to the candidates from the SC/ ST/ PwD categories.

Age Limit

Candidates above 18 years of age are eligible for AILET 2024.

AILET 2024 Admit Card

National Law University (NLU Delhi) released AILET admit card 2024 on Nov 24, 2023, for students who had submitted All India Law Entrance Test 2024 forms. Students can download their AILET hall ticket from the National Law University Delhi's official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The login information for downloading AILET 2024 admit card would be the registered mobile number and password.

The admit card notifications are given out via push notifications from the Getmyuni website for the registered candidates. The applicants are advised to subscribe to the notifications to be updated on the release of important details.

How to Download AILET 2024 Admit Card?

To download the admit card, the candidates have to enter their login ID/ application number and password. Follow the steps mentioned below to download AILET admit card.

  • Step 1: Go to the official website of NLU Delhi nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
  • Step 1: Click on the 'AILET Admit Card' link.
  • Step 1: Enter the application number and other credentials, and fill in the captcha code.
  • Step 1: Click on the login and AILET admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Step 1: Review AILET admit card thoroughly if there is an error, complain about this issue immediately at the helpdesk or go to the 'Admit Card Correction Window' on the official website.
  • Step 1: Download and take a print of AILET admit card 2024.

AILET 2024 Exam Pattern

AILET 2024 will be conducted in pen and paper mode. The NTA will conduct a mock test adhering to AILET exam pattern so that the candidates can comprehend the changes made in AILET 2024 examination process. The mock test details will be declared soon after the application process is closed.

AILET notice was released for PWD candidates. According to the notice, all PWD candidates will be given extra 30 minutes to complete the exam. Hence, the exam duration for PWD candidates will be 2 hours, while for general candidates, it is 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Furthermore, the NTA will be providing students with instructions and a mock test before AILET 2024 exam. The candidates should check the official website for any new information.

AILET 2024 exam has negative marking. For every incorrect answer given, the applicant will be losing 0.25 marks. The majority of the scores for AILET exam is from the MCQs. The applicants will also have to write an essay and the split of marks is given below.

For BA LLB: AILET 2024 exam for BA LLM will be conducted for 150 marks for a duration of 90 minutes.

For LLM: The exam for LLM will be conducted for a total of 150 marks in which there will be 100 MCQs each carrying one mark and an essay for 50 marks.
