AILET 2019 Important Dates/Schedules:

  • Application: The AILET 2019 Application form will be released on 4th January 2019 and the candidates have to submit the filled application form within 5th April 2019.

  • Exam Dates: The AILET 2019 exams will be held on 6th May 2019 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.


AILET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: Depending on the reservation for category or according to the general merit cut-off, the candidate needs to have scored 50% of aggregate marks in the 10+2 qualifying examination for LLB, in the LLB qualification exam to apply for LLM and similarly in the LLM examination to apply for P.h.D.

  • Scoring: Candidates need to have scored at least 50 percent marks in 10+2 to seek admission for five-year integrated law programme. To aim for admission into LLM programme at NLU Delhi, the candidates need to have scored at least 55 percent marks in aggregate of the subjects in the LLB paper to qualify for LLB degree or equivalent.

  • AILET 2019 Eligibility Criteria to be reviewed carefully by the candidate before filling the application form, so as to avoid the risk of application form getting rejected during admission process. 

  • Age Limit: Candidates above 18 years of age are eligible for AILET 2019.


AILET 2019 Admit Card:

  • Availability: The candidates can download their AILET 2019 Admit Card from 14th April 2019 on the official site.

  • Credentials: In order to download the AILET 2019 Admit card, the candidates have to enter their Login ID/Application Number and Password.

AILET 2019 Application Form:

  • Application Process: The candidates have to enter the personal, contact, and academic details while filling the AILET 2019 Application form.

  • Payment: The fee amount for AILET 2019 Application form is 3050/- however, for SC/ST/PwD candidates the fee is 1050/-.


AILET 2019 Exam Pattern:

  • For BA LLB: The AILET 2019 exam for BA LLM will be conducted for 150 marks which will be conducted for total 90 minutes.

  • For LLM: The AILET 2019 exam for LLM will be conducted for total 150 marks in which there will be 100 MCQ's each carrying one mark and an essay for 50 marks.

  • Topics: The candidates should concentrate on the topics such as English, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning etc.

  • Reference Books: The candidates can refer the reference books as prescribed by the board of AILET 2019.

  • Subjects: The AILET 2019 Syllabus are:

    • Syllabus for LLB are English including comprehension, elementary mathematics, general knowledge and current affairs, legal aptitude, and logical reasoning.

    • Syllabus for LLM are Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, legal theory, criminal and constitutional law

 The eligibility criteria are a minimum of  60% in 12th, and yes I took up an entrance exam of CLAT, AILET, SET. In CLAT it depends on the cutoff, sometimes the cutoff is very high and sometimes it is very low. But we can assume around 135 from 200 minimum cutoff for general category.
