What is AILET 2020?
Full form of AILET is All India Law Entrance Test. It is a national level entrance exam to offer various courses in the stream of Law. AILET 2020 examination is conducted by National Law University, Delhi which has the complete authority to conduct the examination and to allocate the seats to the applied candidates.
Main objective of the University is to evolve and impart interdisciplinary and comprehensive legal education that is socially relevant. AILET 2020 examination is conducted once a year and the interested can make use of this opportunity.
Courses offered through AILET 2020 Exam is organized for students seeking admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses (BA LLB. (Hons), LL.M, PhD Programs) offered by the National Law University, Delhi.

AILET 2020 Important Dates/Schedules
Please note that the dates given below are tentative and the exact dates will be updated once the official notification is released.
Application: The AILET 2020 Application form will be released on January 4, 2020 and the candidates have to submit the filled application form within April 6, 2020.
Exam Dates: The AILET 2020 exams will be held on May 3, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

AILET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: Depending on the reservation for category or according to the general merit cut-off, the candidate needs to have scored 50% of aggregate marks in the 10+2 qualifying examination for LLB, in the LLB qualification exam to apply for LLM and similarly in the LLM examination to apply for P.h.D.
Scoring: Candidates need to have scored at least 50 percent marks in 10+2 to seek admission for five-year integrated law programme. To aim for admission into LLM programme at NLU Delhi, the candidates need to have scored at least 55 percent marks in aggregate of the subjects in the LLB paper to qualify for LLB degree or equivalent.
AILET 2020 Eligibility Criteria to be reviewed carefully by the candidate before filling the application form, so as to avoid the risk of application form getting rejected during admission process.
Age Limit: Candidates above 18 years of age are eligible for AILET 2020.
AILET 2020 Admit Card
Availability: The candidates can download their AILET 2020 Admit Card from April 14, 2020 on the official site.
Credentials: In order to download the AILET 2020 Admit card, the candidates have to enter their Login ID/Application Number and Password.

AILET 2020 Application Form
Application Process: The candidates have to enter the personal, contact, and academic details while filling the AILET 2020 Application form.
Payment: The fee amount for AILET 2020 Application form is 3050/- however, for SC/ST/PwD candidates the fee is 1050/-.
AILET 2020 Exam Pattern
For BA LLB: The AILET 2020 exam for BA LLM will be conducted for 150 marks which will be conducted for total 90 minutes.
For LLM: The AILET 2020 exam for LLM will be conducted for total 150 marks in which there will be 100 MCQ's each carrying one mark and an essay for 50 marks.

AILET 2020 Syllabus
Topics: The candidates should concentrate on the topics such as English, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning etc.
Reference Books: The candidates can refer the reference books as prescribed by the board of AILET 2020.
Subjects: The AILET 2020 Subjects are:
Syllabus for LLB are English including comprehension, elementary mathematics, general knowledge and current affairs, legal aptitude, and logical reasoning.
Syllabus for LLM are Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, legal theory, criminal and constitutional law

Availability: The AILET 2020 Results will be out by May 28, 2020 on the AILET official site.

AILET 2020 Counselling Procedure
Schedule: Once after the AILET 2020 Merit list and answer key is published, the AILET 2020 Counselling process starts and the eligible candidates have to attend the counselling without fail.
Process: Before the allotment of seats, the process of Document verification takes place in which the candidate's original certificates will be cross-checked.
