JEE Main 2023 Result Dates

NTA releases JEE Main 2023 session 2 paper 2 result today, May 25, 2023. The result for session 2 paper 1 was released on Apr 29, 2023. Candidates can use their login information to check and download their results. The JEE Main final score will include the aggregate percentile score for all three topics and the normalised percentile scores for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

JEE Main 2023 Exam Timings

JEE Main 2023 is conducted in two sessions. Session 2 exam was held on Apr 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15, 2023. The exam was held in two shifts - the morning shift from 9 AM - 12 PM and the afternoon shift from 3 PM to 6 PM. 

Students must arrive at the exam centre at least an hour before JEE Main 2023 exam commences. Examiners will go through the guidelines once the students are seated in the exam hall, and then the JEE Main 2023 exam will start. The detailed timings for sessions 1 and 2 of JEE Main 2023 are as follows.

Release of the NTA Examination Calendar for Academic Year - JEE Main Date 2023-24

JEE Main 2023 Admit Card Dates

JEE Main 2023 admit card for day 7 (Apr 15, 2023) was released on Apr 12, 2023. Earlier, the admit card for session 2, day 6 (Apr 13, 2023) was released on Apr 11, 2023.

JEE Main 2023 session 2 admit cards for day 4 and 5 was issued on Apr 9, 2023, on the official website and the admit cards for session 2, days 1, 2, and 3 were released on Apr 3, 5, and 7, 2023, respectively. 

Candidates can download their admit cards on the official website using their application number and date of birth. Carrying the JEE Main 2023 admit card to the JEE Main examination centre is mandatory. Candidates cannot enter the examination hall without the admit card.

JEE Main 2023 Exam Day Guidelines

National Testing Agency, i.e., NTA, is responsible for releasing the JEE Main Exam Dates 2023 Guidelines and the JEE Main admit card 2023. JEE Main will be conducted twice this year for all engineering aspirants starting in 2023. Therefore, the authorities have decided to organise the JEE Main exam 2023 for paper 1 as a computer-based test (CBT) across both sessions.

The candidates must attempt JEE Main 2023 examination to draw offline, in pen and paper mode. The candidates must know that paper 2 is held biannually. Going through JEE Main 2023 exam day guidelines will ensure a smooth process during JEE Main 2023 exam.

The hall ticket for JEE Main 2023 will be available on NTA's official website for all candidates after JEE Main 2023 registration process. The candidates are advised to reach JEE Main 2023 exam centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of the JEE Main exam. JEE Main Exam Combination into CUET

According to a report by the Times of India, the University Grants Commission (UGC) is thinking about combining the largest entrance exams in the nation—the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for engineering and the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for medicine—with the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG for university admissions.

According to the proposal to combine these exams, students will be able to select their area of study by taking a single entrance exam as opposed to appearing for the same four subjects - physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics - in three different exams, according to UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar to TOI.

Reducing student stress is the goal of the plan to combine the top three entrance examinations. "The suggestion is that we unify all of these entrance exams so that our kids won't have to take several entrance exams that test the same body of information. According to Kumar, who TOI reported, the kids should just have to take one admission exam but have several possibilities to apply across fields.

UGC is looking at the decision to combine exams from the perspective of streamlining the logistics for both applicants and the National Testing Agency. "If you reduce the number of tests, there is a potential that it will become easier from a logistics point of view for NTA," the UGC chairman noted.

To get an agreement on the proposal to have a single exam twice a year, UGC is in discussions with the universities and officials. A second admission exam can be held in Dec after the board exams, Kumar added, according to the BBC.
