The examination was conducted with standard operating protocols to maintain social distancing norms and to ensure the safety of students and staff members too. But some students have reported negligence to safety protocols by the administration at a few of the exam centres.

The examination was conducted in two shifts, the first shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The exam was conducted as an online (computer-based) test. The exam analysis is based on the reviews given by various students and is mentioned below:

  • The overall paper mostly consisted of directly answerable questions.
  • The mathematics section was reported to be lengthy due to a higher number of calculations to be done per problem.
  • The chemistry section was reported as tricky to solve in the 2020 paper.
  • The physics section was reportedly the easiest among the three sections in the COMEDK UGET 2020 Examination.

The results for this examination will be announced shortly after the announcement of the final answer keys.

COMEDK UGET 2018 Paper Analysis

The COMEDK 2018 Paper was a perfect mixture of easy as well as difficult questions. English and Chemistry papers were simple. A few students said that Physics was somewhat reasonable and doubtful. Mathematics paper was difficult. Hardly any questions (around 9 Questions) were to a great degree difficult and time taking. Legitimacy for Mathematics was higher than chemistry. Even for one mark, candidates slipped for several ranks.

1. The eligibility criteria to get admission to Sambhram Institute Of Technology for the Computer Science And Engineering Course is a minimum of 55% aggregate in PCM in 10+2 or PUC for the General students and 50% aggregate in PCM for OBC students and 45% aggregate in PCM for the SC/ST students. Prior to the entrance examinations, admissions can also be taken under the Management Quota which is common to both the Karnataka and Non-Karnataka Students.

2. I took up the COMEDK UGET examination.

3. Cutoff varies every year. Typically, it ranges from 1-40,000 rank.

The entrance exams for joining vidya vardhaka college of engineering is fairly simple and straight forward. Students can enrol by scoring good marks and getting the cutoff required in KCET conducted by the state government. The other less competitive but more expensive option would be the COMEDK UGET exam conducted by the state government. The last option would be getting admission through management quota where you pay really high fees depending on the course you wish to pursue and there is no written examinations or cutoff requirements.

The college is one of the many colleges which take COMEDK UGET as the entrance examination. To take up this entrance test one must have a 60 percent above marks in 12th/puc. After comedk exams the comedk counselling is arranged where seats open for several colleges and based on your rank you are given a priority to choose from all the seats available. Jssateb is one among the top 15 colleges seats are hard to get unless you have scored at least above average marks.

I got into PESIT through KCET, the cutoffs for my year were fairly high(around 1500 for CSE) but with PES becoming a university, the admissions will be based on their own PESSAT and KCET. The entrance exam level of PESSAT is fairly competitive (I've heard) and with the south campus gaining traction over the years it's getting just as tough to get in there through merit.

My advice, prep well on COMEDK UGET material, as the level of exams are similar.

Well, I got into Dayananda Sagar college through COMEDK UGET Exam. After taking COMEDK UGET, you have to wait for your results and after the results, each student is provided with a rank based on which you get to choose your college. I was eligible for DSCE. I got the civil engineering branch. The typical Cut off for my Course is 85 marks or rank ranging from 8500-12000. Overall the college is fine, not great, not bad but opting for civil engineering in this college is not worth it. If you are getting into Computer science department then it could be a fine choice else DSCE is not a college I would recommend.

Reva University conducts its own entrance exam called Reva EET and one can also take up other entrance exams like KCET or COMEDK UGET. The fee structure for admission is different for different exams.

The admission process is pretty simple where in if you clear any entrance test and your ranking is within the cut-off then you will get an SMS from the college regarding your admission date. When you go there with a copy of your results along with all the original documents, you will be given an admission form which needs to be filled up and submitted along with all the original documents, and the admission process will end.

Get a good rank in KCET or COMEDK UGET. They have a reservation for Raju caste people who run the management of the college. I took COMEDK You're ranking in CET should be around 10000 to 15000 And the same holds good for COMEDK also.
