COMEDK UGET 2023 Notification
Karnataka Higher Education Minister announced on Jun 23, 2022, that COMEDK UGET will not be conducted from 2023. Instead, the government will combine COMEDK UGET with Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) to conduct a joint entrance examination to provide Vocational Education Course admission. The decision was made by the minister in a meeting with the Federation of Governors of Private Vocational Institutes. The conducting body has released an official notification on the portal.
In addition, the government has announced a hike of 10% increase in the admission fee for Engineering, Medical, and other professional courses. The commission made the decision, although there was a demand for a 25% increase.
