What is DU JAT?

DU JAT is an eligibility test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) once in a year for shortlisting candidates to UG Management programs in colleges Affiliated to Delhi University.

It is a 2-hour Computer-based test conducted in almost 18 cities across India for Admission in 6 colleges which are under Delhi University.

What Is The Eligibility Criteria For DU JAT?

The Basic Eligibility Criteria for the candidates applying for DU JAT 2019 is that they should have passed Class 12 or any equivalent Exam

Candidates who belong to General category should have scored a minimum of 60% in Class 12 and the candidates who belong to SC/ST/PWD should have scored 55% in Class 12.

If the candidates satisfy this criterion they can apply for DU JAT 2019 Exam. Candidates will have to produce their Mark sheet during Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Syllabus

The Syllabus of DU JAT 2019 will help the aspirants to Prepare well for the topics that would appear for the exam. The DU JAT 2019 Exam will have the following 4 sections:

  • Quantitative Ability
  • Reasoning and Analytical Ability
  • General English
  • Business and General Awareness

Each of these 4 sections will have 25 questions. The DU JAT Exam will have 100 questions and it is for 300 marks. These 4 sections will have various topics candidates will have to prepare according to the DU JAT 2019 Syllabus to crack the Exam.

How To Register For DU JAT?

The candidates will have to follow the steps given below to register for DU JAT 2019 Exam:

  • Step 1: Go to the official website click 'New registration'
  • Step 2: Fill up the Credentials like Name, Date of Birth, and Email ID.
  • Step 3: After Filling this click on 'Submit'.

How To Apply For DU JAT?

The candidates will have to follow these steps to Apply for DU JAT:

  • Step 1: Enter Credentials like Personal details, Educational details, etc.
  • Step 2: Upload the image of a recent Photograph and Signature in the given Format.
  • Step 3: Pay the Application Fee.
  • Step 4: Take a printout of the Application Form for Future reference.

Application Form

To take up the Exam candidates will have to register and submit the DU JAT 2019 Application Form. The Application form will be available on the official website of the conducting authority from 30th May 2019. 

And the last date to submit the Application form is 22nd June 2019. The candidates who satisfy the eligibility can apply for DU JAT 2019 Exam.

Documents Required To Apply for DU JAT

The following documents are required when a candidate is filling up DU JAT Application form:

  • Mark Sheet of class 10
  • Mark Sheet of class 12
  • Scanned image of recent Passport size photo and signature of the candidate.

Exam Pattern

National Testing Agency (NTA) is in charge of conducting DU JAT. The DU JAT 2019 exam will be conducted online only. There will be 4 sections which the candidates will have to focus on they are Quantitative Ability, Reasoning & Analytical Ability, General English, and Business and General Awareness.

Each of the above-mentioned sections will have 25 questions. Each question carries 3 marks. For each question which is not answered rightly 1 mark will be deducted from the total. 

The Exam will be held for 2 hours.

Admit Card

The candidates who have applied for DU JAT 2019 before the last date can download the Admit card from the official website from 24th June 2019. Admit card is an important document which a candidate should carry to the exam hall.

The DU JAT 2019 Admit card will have details like Applicant Number, Test Center, date and instructions to the candidates. Along with the admit card candidates will have to carry a photo ID proof. 

How To Download DU JAT Admit Card?

The candidates will have to follow the steps mentioned below to download the Admit Card from the official website:

  • Step 1: Go the official website
  • Step 2: Login by entering your User ID and Password
  • Step 3: Click on Download Admit card
  • Step 4: Download and take a printout of Admit card.

There is no provision for Lateral Entry to any courses other than B.Tech through DU JAT.
