Mode & Duration: REAP 2018 Examination is the Pen-Paper based examination and the time duration for REAP 2018 exam are 3 hours (180 min).

Eligibility criteria for the B.Tech/ B.E. course:
The B.Tech/B.E. programs in Rajasthan University require the candidate to appear for the JEE Main exam.
Eligibility criteria for the B.Arch course:
Candidates should have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with Mathematics by securing 50% marks in aggregate or 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Govt.
Age Limit: Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st October 1992 are eligible. There is a five-year relaxation for the SC/ST and PWD category candidates.
Payment can be made through online mode also. Candidates have to pay INR 700/- as application fee. Candidates have to preserve the transaction code.
Candidates have to fill in the Challan No or Bill Desk Transaction Code, Date of Birth and Father’s or Mother's Name so as to log in.
The candidate has to enter details such as name, father's name, mother's name and date of birth, etc. After which a challan will be generated for fee payment in any branch of State Bank of India from the second working day onwards from the day of submission of application form.

Here admission is also done by REAP counselling but direct admissions are also there. I got direct admission. If your percentage is 60percent or above, then there is a chance of best branch. I was admitted to this college directly without any entrance. The typical cutoff was 60 percent.
The eligibility criteria for getting admission in my university was the student must have completed 10+2 with a good score. The entrance examination I gave was JEE MAINS after which I had applied for REAP which considers marks of jee for giving admission. Board of Technical Education Rajasthan conducts Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process [REAP] examination.

Earlier Board of Technical Education Rajasthan conducts Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test [RPET] for taking admission in Government aided and Private unaided colleges of Rajasthan. Now RPET has been discontinued and REAP replaces this exam.
Is category change possible during online registration for REAP 2017?
Change of Category is possible from SC/ST/OBC to OP at the time of online registration, but a change of category from OP to reserved category is not allowed. Also, change of category within SC/ST and OBC are not allowed for REAP 2017. Change of any category to PWD will not be allowed. If the candidate fails to submit category certificate or category given by the candidate is found to be wrong at the time of verification of certificates and also at the time of reporting, his / her provisional allocation of the seat shall automatically stand cancelled in REAP 2017.
However, the candidate will be allowed for the next rounds of seat allocation for the available vacant seats only, after obtaining an undertaking from the candidate and updating his/her category based on the original certificates.
What is the best strategy of choice filling for REAP 2017?
Each choice of institute or branch must be such that you know completely what you are asking for. Include only those choices in your list where you are really prepared to go if you get a seat allocated. Maintaining strict order of preference is also very important.
Assume that what you really want is at no. 17 in your list but you get choice no. 13. In the subsequent rounds, choice no.
1 to 12 only will be considered. Even if you get an opportunity to modify your choices later, what you wanted may not be available at that time
What is the procedure for admission through management quota in Private Colleges for the REAP 2017?
There are 15% seats reserved in all the branches under management quota in all the private colleges. A separate merit list according to guidelines of RTU is prepared for admission under this category. You have to apply separately for the admission under MQ at the institute itself.
