About: PESSAT (People's Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test) is a national level online entrance exam conducted by the PES University, Bangalore, Karnataka. PESSAT is the foremost step for the candidates who want to get admissions into PES University UG and PG programmes.

Admissions: Based on the candidate's performance in the PESSAT, the PES University offers admissions to its courses.
Registration: Application forms will be available on PESSAT 2019 Official website from 11th October 2018.
Exam centres: Engineering admissions will be conducted at various exam centres all over the country for PESSAT. But, the test centres for all other courses will be conducted in Bangalore only at PES University campus.
Scores accepted: Design program aspirants have to appear for PESSAT DAT. Admissions to B. Arch is done on the basis of NATA score and for BBA LLB (Hons) admission CLAT score.
B. Tech programmes- Admissions through PESSAT can be taken for B.Tech programmes such as – Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering as well as Mechanical Engineering.

Registration Date: PESSAT 2019 Application Form will be released by PES University via online mode on the official website.
PESSAT Result Date: PESSAT Results for 2019 will be declared in the month of May 2019.
Eligibility Criteria: PESSAT 2019 Eligibility varies as per the course the aspirant is seeking admission for.
Attempts: Candidates are allowed only one attempt.
Qualifying Exam: Candidates need to have cleared 10+2 examination or any proportionate exam approved by any recognized board with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
Engineering Course: Class 11th and 12th level questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is the PESSAT 2019 Syllabus for engineering courses.
Other Courses: Questions from Analytical & Logical Reasoning, English Comprehensive/Verbal Ability, Quantitative Reasoning and General Awareness will be asked for other courses.
Duration: PESSAT 2019 Exam Pattern is the candidates will have 3 hours of time to complete the PESSAT exam who applied for B.Tech courses. The exam duration for other courses is 2 hours.
Number of Questions: There will be about 180 MCQs for 180 marks with no negative marking.
Sample Paper: Candidates can refer to previous year PESSAT Sample paper from previous year to have an idea of the exam pattern.
Application Form Release: The PESSAT 2019 Important Dates will give Application Form release date by the PES University on 8th October 2018.
Application Fee: The PESSAT exam fee is Rs. 1050/- which can either be paid through a debit/credit card online or offline by issuing a demand draft drawn in favour of 'PES University General Fund' which is payable at Bangalore, or by Challan.
Mode: PESSAT 2019 Application Process for the candidates who wish to apply for the exam can fill the form online on the Official Website.
Caution: Any error during the application form filling may result in cancellation of candidature whether it might be intentionally or otherwise.
Exam centres: PESSAT 2019 Exam Centres are spread around India in 42 cities with 44 test centres. The slot booking is based on first come first serve.
Select: Candidates have the liberty to choose the appropriate centres feasible for them to attend during the application form filling process.
Release Date for B.tech: PESSAT 2019 Admit Card for B.Tech can be obtained from the month of April 2019.
Release Date for other courses: The admit card for other courses will be available from the month of January 2019.
Results: The results for B.Tech admissions will be announced on 27th May 2019, and the results for other courses will be declared a week after the date of exam.
Checking of Results: PESSAT 2019 Results can be checked on the PES website by entering the candidate's registration number and date of birth. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their exam scores and the performance in the interview.
Counselling Process: PESSAT 2019 Counselling Process will begin in June 2019.
Shortlisting: All the shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling session according to their allocated dates.
Documents: Selected candidates should submit their authentic documents for verification.
The important dates for the B.Tech course are as follows: -
PESSAT registration date: The PESSAT registration process will begin on September 21st, 2017 and will end on April 12th, 2017 for the students from outside Bengaluru while the last date to register for the students in Bengaluru is April 17th, 2017.
PESSAT slot booking: The PESSAT slot booking will begin on April 21st, 2017.
PESSAT exam date: The PESSAT exam will be held in the first week of May 2017.
Application fee: The application fee can be paid online or offline. The application fee can be paid using debit card/credit card/net banking. For the online mode of payment, candidates are required to obtain a Demand draft from any nationalized bank.
PART 2: The candidate is required to fill details such as category, mother tongue, citizenship, address etc. Once this is done, click on "Continue" to upload your photograph from the required path.
PART 3: You can choose to upload the photograph later by entering the registration number, date of birth and gender details. Click on the "Confirm" button to move to the payment gateway.
Admit card Date: The PESSAT admit card will be available in the month of April 2017 for the B.Tech program while the admit card will be available in the month of January for the other programs.
Procedure: The candidates have to visit the official website to download the admit card.
Details: The admit card has information about the candidate's name, photograph, roll number and signature of the candidate, etc.
Mode: The test will be conducted in online mode.
Subjects: The test will include the following subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
The Number of questions: There will be 60 questions from Physics and Mathematics, 20 questions from English and 40 questions from Chemistry.
Type of questions: All the questions will be objective type questions.
The topics are as follows:
English Comprehensive: The topics are Analogies & Syllogisms, Antonyms, Contextual usage, Fill In the Blanks, etc.
Analytical and Logical Reasoning: The topics are Arrangement, Blood Relations, Calendars, Critical Reasoning, etc.
Quantitative Reasoning: The topics are Arithmetic, Geometry, Number system, Percentages, etc.
General Knowledge: The candidates should read the news on a regular basis.
PESSAT result date: The PESSAT result will be declared by the last week of May 2017.
Procedure: The candidates have to visit the official website and enter their registration number and date of birth. The candidates will be able to see their scores and rank obtained.
Counselling date: The PESSAT counselling process will be conducted in the month of June 2019. The second round will be held in the month of July 2019.
Counselling rounds: The PESSAT counselling process will consist of two rounds.
