About: AP LAWCET 2019 is an entrance exam for securing an admission to law colleges in Andhra Pradesh. It is conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Level: AP LAWCET 2019 (Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test) is a state level examination. However, with the division of the state, two new entrance exams were introduced which are called – TS LAWCET and AP LAWCET. Sections: The paper will consist of three sections:
Section 1 – General Knowledge & Mental Ability (30 Multiple Choice Questions carrying one mark each)

Application Form Release: The application form for AP LAWCET 2019 will be released on 21st February 2019 and the last date to complete application is 20th March 2019.

For 5 Year LL.B: Candidates must have an aggregate of 45% marks in their Higher Secondary or Intermediate examination (40% for SC/ST, 42% for OBC candidates) to be eligible for AP LAWCET 2019 examination.

Application Mode and Details: The AP LAWCET 2019 application form can be filled online (There is no provision to apply for AP LAWCET 2019 offline). The application form of AP LAWCET 2019 will be made available on the official website from 21st February 2019. The candidates are required to pay application fee first and then complete the application filling process.
Application Fee & Mode: The AP LAWCET 2019 application fee for LL.B is INR 750-/ and for LL.M is 850-/ excluding the processing fee. There are two modes by which an applicant can make the fee payment. They are: Cash at APOnline Center and Money transfer by Debit/Credit/Net Banking.

Mode: Online (computer-based) mode.
Total Marks: The total marks that can be secured in the AP LAWCET 2019 is 120. Eligible candidates are ranked based on the cut-off range and total marks secured during the examination.
Type of Questions: Objective Type. +1 Mark for every correct answer and NO negative marking.
Duration: Candidates must complete the exam within a duration 90 minutes.

Credentials: In order to download the AP LAWCET 2019 admit card, the candidates must enter few necessary credentials like their e-mail ID and date of birth. It is mandatory for all candidates to carry their respective admit cards along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination hall to be allowed to appear for the AP LAWCET 2019 examination. In case of failure to carry the above said documents, candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
Date of Issue: After the candidates have filled their application form, they can download the admit card or hall tickets from the AP LAWCET 2019 official website. The download link will be made accessible for the candidates with valid credentials from 14th April 2019.

Syllabus: The AP LAWCET 2019 syllabus will cover various areas such as General Knowledge, Mental Ability, Current Affairs, Aptitude for the study of law. Candidates must be thorough with the basic principles of the law and Constitution of India.
Courses: Candidates can prepare from these topics to score well in the examination. For 5 year LLB course, the syllabus will consist of degree level courses.
Announcement of Results: The final results of AP LAWCET 2019 will be declared on 12th May 2019 and results will be available on the official website of AP LAWCET 2019 examination.
Credentials: Candidates can view the results by filling in their AP LAWCET 2019 registration number and date of birth.
Counselling Date: The AP LAWCET 2019 examination qualified students are eligible to apply for the counselling process of AP LAWCET 2019. The counselling process will commence on 29th May 2019.
Admission: Candidates can provide their preferences of colleges and courses for AP LAWCET 2019 admission during the counselling process. The admission will take place based on the marks scored by the candidate in the exam. The mode of counselling procedure is online and candidates must keep with them all necessary documents mentioned in the AP LAWCET 2019 application form.

Tip 1: Before starting preparation, you have to make a proper timetable that covers all your subjects/topics of the officially prescribed syllabus. Make sure that you allot more time to a subject that needs more attention and from which more questions are is asked each year.
Tip 2: By solving previous year question papers, candidates will get familiar with the exam pattern and weightage distribution of various areas of study throughout the question paper.

Qualification: Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent degree from a recognized University in order to be eligible for AP LAWCET 2019 examination.
Minimum Marks: Applicants should have a minimum of 45% of aggregate marks in their Higher Secondary Examination to be eligible for the AP LAWCET 2019 entrance exam.

Minimum Marks: Applicants must have an aggregate score of at least 45% marks in their Higher Secondary Exams to be eligible for the AP LAWCET 2019 examination (40% in case of SC/ ST applicants)
Age: The maximum age limit for a candidate seeking admission into the 5-year LL.B Course shall be twenty years (relaxable by two years in the case of SCs/STs) respectively to be eligible for the AP LAWCET 2019 examination.

Mode: Candidates cannot apply for AP LAWCET 2019 offline.
Obtaining the AP LAWCET 2019 application: Candidates will have to provide all details such as Name, Address, Category, Qualification and other information as required on the application form. Admit Card to AP LAWCET 2019: Candidates are advised to carry the Admit Card as well as a valid photo ID on the day of the AP LAWCET 2019 examination, for verification purposes.
Mode: Admit Card is available online only. There is no provision for obtaining Admit Card offline.
Mode of AP LAWCET Exam: AP LAWCET 2019 is set in English and Telugu languages only, it is a paper-pen based examination consisting of 3 parts, Part A, Part B and Part C carrying 120 questions for a total of 120 Marks.
Duration of Exam: 1 hours 30 minutes (90 minutes)
Marking Scheme for AP LAWCET Exam: Every right answer gets the number of marks mentioned and there are no negative markings for the AP LAWCET 2019 examination.

Availability of Results: The Results will be available on the official website of AP LAWCET 2019 as soon as the exams are over. Candidates will have to stay updated on the website for notifications and updates on the AP LAWCET 2019 examination Results.
Obtaining Results: Candidates will have to visit the official website of AP LAWCET. The Scorecard page will be displayed, enter the required details such as Hall Ticket Number and submit. The AP LAWCET 2019 Result will appear on your computer screen. Download it or take print out of it for future reference.
Score Obtained: The result of AP LAWCET is based on the scores obtained by the candidates out of the total 120 questions that were asked in the exam of AP LAWCET. While each question was for one mark, there was no negative marking for wrong attempts.
Qualifying Marks: Candidates needed to answer at least 35% of questions correctly i.e., 42 out of 120, to be considered eligible for AP LAWCET 2019 Result and rank card. This rule is not applicable to SC/ST candidates.

AP LAWCET is a state level entrance examination. The assigned university organizes this entrance exam on behalf of APSCHE. AP LAWCET is conducted annually for students who want to get admission into the 3 years and 5 years LLB courses offered by the institutes of Andhra Pradesh.
AP LAWCET exam for this year has already been done. You have to wait for next year as exam will be held in April 2019.
If you wish to seek admission in the 3 year LLB course you should have done your graduation from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 45%.
If you wish to pursue the 5 year LLB course you should have cleared 12th or an equivalent exam from any recognized board. The minimum score of the candidate should be 45%.
