Introduction To JET 2019 (Jain University Entrance Test)

  • About: Jain University Founded in 1990 as SBMJC by Dr.Chenraj Roychand is a private university situated in Bangalore, the University offers innovative programs at UG, PG, research levels, managed and imparted by 448 sharp minded faculty members who mentor over 11091 students nationally and globally.

  • Level: JET 2019 is a University Level Examination for Admissions to UG and PG Programmes offered by Jain University.

  • Frequency: JET is conducted once a year usually in the Month of January for PG Programmes and for UG Programmes in the month of April.

  • Admission: Test regarding subjects followed by group discussion and personal interview. The JET 2019 exam will consist of the objective type of questions followed by group discussion and an interview.

JET 2019 Important Dates

  • Registration Date: The JET 2019 registration process will begin in September for PG programs and in November for UG programs.

  • Exam Date: The JET 2019 exam will be conducted in January for PG program and in April for the UG program.

  • PG Programs: The exam date has been released for JET 2019 PG i.e on 14th April 2019.

JET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • UG Course:

    • Candidates who have completed 12th/PUC or ICSE/CBSE or equivalent board are eligible to apply for the JET 2019.

    • Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% in the subjects taken together.

    • International Baccalaureate students should get 30 credits to qualify for the course.

    • Cambridge students must study 2 or 3 subjects at 'A' Level (Advanced level).

  • PG Course: 

    • MBA, MMS & M.com aspirants with a valid CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, CMAT, and ATMA score will be exempted from the Jain Entrance Written Test and will be qualified directly for the Group Discussion/ Personal Interview.

    • M.Tech aspirants with valid GATE score will be exempted from the Jain Entrance Written Test and will be qualified directly for the Group Discussion/ Personal Interview.

    • Other candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in the subjects taken together.

JET 2019 Application Form

  • Credentials: The Applicants has to enter necessary Details in the Application Form such as Program Type (UG/PG), Program Name, Specialization and Candidates Personal Details such as Name, DOB, Gender, Aadhar Number, Blood Group, Nationality etc. 

  • Documents: The Applicant has to upload a recent passport size (3.5 x 4.5cm) colour photograph. (Photo should be in .jpg or .png format and maximum file size allotted is 50 KB)

  • Marks cards of X, X11, UG and PG (Mark list should be in .jpg or .png format and maximum file size allotted is 100 KB)

  • An application number will be generated after submission.
  • Refer your application number for all your future correspondence.

JET 2019 Exam Pattern

  • Undergraduate course paper pattern: The paper is divided into four sections which are of Total 100 Marks.
  • Postgraduate course paper pattern: It is same as the UG, which has four Sections under it.

JET 2019 Admit Card

  • Credentials: The Applicants has to Enter their E-mail ID and the Respective Password in order to log in and download the Hall-Tickets in the official site of Jain University.
  • Schedule: The Candidates who have Registered and Applied for the Exam can download their Admit Cards on 8th April 2019.

Currently pursuing BBA at Jain University, Center for Management Studies, I can easily vouch that joining here is byfar the best decesion I have taken. The admission procedure and the eligibility criteria are not very tedious. One can easily secure a seat with a little bit of preparation which is required to clear the JET ( Jain Entrance Test) and being constantly updated on current affairs will also help in clearing the group discussion and interview round. 

The aggregate required was a minimum  of 70% in 12th grade and the clearing the admission tests at CMS.
