JET 2018

JET 2019 conducted by Jain University for admission to different UG and PG courses in Jain University. JET 2019 for B.Tech conducted on 14th April 2019 and for other UG courses, the exam is going to happened on 26th and 27th April 2019.

Introduction To JET 2019 (Jain University Entrance Test)

  • About: Jain Deemed-To-Be-University, founded in 1990 as SBMJC by Dr.Chenraj Roychand, is a private university situated in Bangalore. The University offers innovative programs at UG, PG and research levels. Jain University offers admission to all UG and PG courses based on the merit list of JET 2019.

  • The university is managed and imparted by 448 sharp minded faculty members who mentor over 11091 students nationally and globally.

  • Vision: To foster human development through excellence in quality education, research and development, and entrepreneurial development. Jain University (JU) is certified ISO 9001:2008 for quality management by TUV Rheinland. JU is a member of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP).

  • Level: JET 2019 is a University Level examination for admissions to UG and PG programs offered by the Jain University.

  • Frequency: JET is conducted once a year. The exams are conducted in different months for various programs. For PG programs, exams are usually conducted in the month of January and for UG programs in April, every year.

  • Admission: The candidates will have to attend an entrance exam followed by group discussion and personal interview to get admitted into the university.

JET 2019 Important Dates

  • Registration Date: The JET 2019 registration process will begin in September for PG programs and in November for UG programs. Candidates can register for the courses either by online or offline method.

  • Exam Date: The JET 2019 will be conducted in January for PG programs and in April for the UG programs.

JET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates who wish to apply for the JET 2019 should check for the eligibility criteria. Admit card will be provided to the candidates only if the eligibility criteria are satisfied.

  • Eligibility criteria are different for different courses. More details about the eligibility criteria can be known from the JET 2019 Eligibility Criteria section.

UG Course:

  • Candidates who have completed 12th/PUC from ICSE/CBSE or equivalent board are eligible to apply for the JET 2019.

  • Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% in the subjects taken together.

  • Candidates belonging to the reserved category should contact the Admissions Office for details about the eligibility criteria.

  • International Baccalaureate students should get 30 credits to qualify for the course.

  • Cambridge students must study 2 or 3 subjects at 'A' Level (Advanced level).

PG Course: 

  • MBA, MMS & M.Com aspirants with a valid CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, CMAT, and ATMA score will be exempted from the Jain Entrance Written Test and will be qualified directly for the Group Discussion/ Personal Interview.

  • M.Tech aspirants with valid GATE score will be qualified directly for the Group Discussion/ Personal Interview.

  • Other candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in the subjects taken together.

JET 2019 Application Form

Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria can apply for JET 2019 by registering themselves in the official website of JET.

  • Credentials: The applicants have to enter necessary details in the application form such as Program Type (UG/PG), Program Name, Specialization.

  • Candidates need to fill personal details such as Name, DOB, Gender, Aadhar Number, Blood Group, Nationality, Educational Qualification, etc.

  • Documents: The applicant has to upload a recent passport size (3.5 x 4.5cm) colour photograph. The photo can be of size 50 kB.

  • Mark sheets of X, XII, UG, PG courses should be uploaded. The maximum size of the image allotted is 100 kB.

  • Scanned documents should be in .jpg or .png format.

  • An application number will be generated after submission.

  • Refer your application number for all your future correspondence.

JET 2019 Exam Pattern

  • The exam question paper consists of objective type questions for 100 marks for both UG and PG courses.

  • There are four sections in the exam paper.

JET 2019 Admit Card

  • Credentials: The applicants have to enter his/her e-mail ID and password in order to log in and download the admit card from the official site of Jain University.

  • Schedule: The candidates who have registered and applied for the exam can download their admit cards from the dates scheduled for various exams.

JET 2019 Exam Centres

  • Schedules: JET 2019 are conducted on various dates for various courses from 14th April 2019 to 27th April 2019.

JET 2019 Syllabus

  • UG: The candidates who have applied for UG programs can expect questions from topics such as

JET 2019 Results

  • Result Date: The candidates who have successfully attempted the JET 2019 can expect their results on 15th April 2019.

  • Credentials: The candidates have to enter the Log-In ID and the Password in the official site to download the results.

JET 2019 Counselling Procedure

  • Merit List: Once the JET 2019 Results are announced, the dates for admission counselling will be announced by the Jain University.

  • Documents: The applicants have to Carry 10th, 11th, 12th, UG Mark Sheets and 2 recent (not more than 3 months) passport size and 2 stamp size photographs in formal dress.

Currently pursuing BBA at Jain University, Center for Management Studies, I can easily vouch that joining here is byfar the best decesion I have taken. The admission procedure and the eligibility criteria are not very tedious. One can easily secure a seat with a little bit of preparation which is required to clear the JET ( Jain Entrance Test) and being constantly updated on current affairs will also help in clearing the group discussion and interview round. 

The aggregate required was a minimum  of 70% in 12th grade and the clearing the admission tests at CMS.

For admission, you need to be 12th passed in Science or Agriculture stream and you need to Clear the State level joint entrance test JET for admission. I cleared the JET exam and the cutoff is not too high. You need to get more than 60% marks.
