IIT Hyderabad was established in 2008 with technical and financial assistance from the Government of Japan. The Institute offers nine undergraduate programs, 20 postgraduate programs, 5 M.Phil programs, and Ph.D. programs in all branches of science, engineering, design, and liberal arts. The institute has around 200 faculty members and 2846 students currently enrolled, with a good student-faculty ratio of 1:13.

• B.Tech: A candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 75% marks with physics, chemistry, and mathematics or biology as the main subjects and have a valid JEE Advanced score.
