What is DSAT?

DSAT is the abbreviation of the Dayananda Sagar Admission Test. It is organised by Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) for UG courses and PG courses under their University. DSAT is a national level entrance examination. The candidates can appear for the entrance test after qualifying eligibility criteria for the respective course they desire to pursue. 

  • About: Dayananda Sagar University, established in the year 1960 by Sri Dayananda Sagar, provides Engineering, Arts and Humanities, Commerce and Management, Basic and Applied Sciences, Basic Sciences, and Health Sciences. Located in Bengaluru, Dayananda Sagar University is run by the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peeta Trust. The DSAT admission test is conducted every year as the entrance examination to DSU.
  • Enrollment: There are 1560 seats for undergraduate programmes and 235 seats for postgraduate courses.

DSAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should go through the DSAT 2021 eligibility criteria to avoid unnecessary mistakes while filling the application form. DSAT 2021 Application Form

The DSAT 2021 application is available on the DSU website. New candidates could register for the application form once the organising authorities announce the official dates. The candidates have to be extra careful while filling their forms so that there are no mistakes.

The steps for applying online are given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website, click registration 2021 on the right-hand side, enter their personal details and register.

Step 2: The candidate will get an OTP to verify their mobile number.

Step 3: After successful registration, fill the application form.

Step 4: Upload the documents, including mark sheets, passport size photos and ID proof verified by the government.

Step 5: After completing these steps, pay the application fees. 

Step 6: Download the copy of the application and save it for future use.

Documents required for DSAT 2021

The DSAT 2021 application needs several documents with verification, and the candidates have to upload these with their claim in educational qualification. Therefore, at the time of registration, upload the below documents:

DSAT 2021 Admit Card

The DSAT 2021 admit card will be released after the application has been closed. The invigilator will verify the admit card during the exam.

DSAT 2021 Counselling

When will the DSAT 2020 examination be held?

The DSAT revised examination dates are out, the exam will be held in the months of June, July, and August. The dates are 29th June, 14th, 15th, 16th July and 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th August.

How much is the fees and how to pay?

The DSAT registration fees is INR 1000 and candidates must pay the amount before application. The fees must be in the form of a demand draft offline.

What is the syllabus for DSAT and what is the total marks?

The syllabus for DSAT is different for each course, English and aptitude test, however, is common for all courses. The total marks for DSAT exam is 75.

How many exam centres will the DSAT 2020 exam have?

DSAT 2020 will be held in all major cities, there will be more than 40 centres in which the examinations will be held.
