Architecture is the activity of designing and constructing buildings and other physical structures by a person or a machine.
The usual definition includes the design of the total built environment, from the macro level of how a building integrates with its surrounding man-made landscapes to the micro level of architectural or construction details.
As a profession, architecture is the role of those persons or machines giving architectural services.
As documentation, often based on drawings, architecture defines the structure or behaviour of a building or any other kind of system that is to be or has been constructed.
This differentiates architecture from engineering design, which has as its primary object the creative manipulation of materials and forms using mathematical and scientific principles.
One can pursue further studies taking up Master's in Architecture for better understanding and hands-on work.
Living in a 3-bhk flat with an individuals family is every conventional and normal person dream. But making those dream into perspective needs a real-time implementation of skills and knowledge with a professional certification or Bachelor of Architecture [ B.Arch].
Designing, constructing buildings and pursuit of machine learning into defining a structure are few important yet paradigm skills which will be helping students to make this world a better place to live by a B.Arch individual.
Being an Architect is not just a work amalgamation of combining the rocks and sands but also to put your imagination via pen and paper and justifying yourself as an "Inventor".
Working in the sector of construction, urban planning and development, public work departments are some of the lucrative jobs assigned to a B.Arch professional after completing his/her individual degree.
Jadavpur University is one of the finest and top universities in eastern India and the number one ranked university in West Bengal. It is ranked 6th among the architecture schools in India as per some of the reports. To be eligible to apply for architecture in this university, you have to be a student of science in your higher secondary studies. Post that, you have to apply for either Joint Entrance Examination (JEE MAIN) Mains Paper 2 or a combination of West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) plus National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA). It is preferable to apply for WBJEE and NATA because the seats for this combination are higher in number.
