UP conducts it state engineering exam and because IET is state college so it takes students who qualify UPSEE/UPTU. There are enormous other colleges who take the student from UPSEE entrance test.
I have given UPTU/UPSEE examination And I opt for BTech by it branch Eligibility for this course is to pass 12th with 60%of marks in every subject and to take admission in this college you have to get minimum of below 8000 ranks.
Firstly it is a central government University, it is known as of the east so we say this university is amazing, good placement and it's better than any UPTU colleges, it's infrastructure is very good huge campus, playing ground atlast it is an amazing university
Entrance exam name is UPTU/UPSEE, 30000 maximum cutoffs for general Very good college having the computer lab, library etc Very good environment in college, Hostel facilities also available in the college.
As per the norms of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU), for applying in the BTech department one has to pass class 12th examinations with a good percentage. The admission in all the courses requires this criteria to be satisfied, only then an individual can take the admission in the university. The university is not UPTU affiliated so admissions take place on the basis of class 12th results. 60% marks are necessary to qualify the admission criteria.
The eligibility criteria are pretty sorted here. If you have your 10th (60%) and 12th in Science stream (70%), along with the JEE MAIN and UPTU/UPSEE scorecards, you can apply for the course at this University. JUST make sure you have at least 50% marks in Mathematics, a rank under 3 lakhs in JEE MAIN and under 50,000 in UPSEE/UPTU. If you have all these criteria sorted, then you are all set to apply.
Now, you will have to apply for SUAT (Sharda University's Entrance Examination), followed by a Personal Interview. If you get 60% or more in SUAT, congratulations you are part of one of India's leading Private University.
