Coppin State University (CSU) was founded in 1900 as Colored High School. It is a public historically black university located in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. CSU is a coeducational liberals arts university that is a part of the University System of Maryland. 

CSU offers various undergraduate and graduate courses in different fields of study. Some popular courses are offered in study areas such as nursing, general psychology, social work, business administration & management, criminal justice & corrections, liberal arts general studies, general biology, and health.
