The Central Board of Secondary Education will conducted the CBSE 10th Mathematics Standard (041) and Mathematics Basic (241) paper on 21st March 2023 from 10:30 am to 01:30 pm. Furthermore, the CBSE class 10 board exam 2023 started on 15th February 2023 and will conclude on 21st March 2023. The exams are conducted in pen and paper mode and candidates must reach their exam centers before 10 am with their CBSE class 10 admit card 2023.

Moreover, the board released the notice regarding the CBSE board class 10 sample paper on 22nd February 2023. The board in the official notice stated that 30 sample papers are circulated asking students for money to download these papers. CBSE Class 10 Eligibility Criteria 2023

The CBSE board has set some eligibility criteria for students appearing for the CBSE class 10 board exam 2023. They will have to fulfil the following eligibility conditions to be able to appear for CBSE class 10 board exam 2023:

CBSE Class 10 Eligibility Criteria 2023 for Regular Students

  • They must have passed the class 9 examination from a school recognised or affiliated with the CBSE board or any other recognised board.
  • They must be studying in class 10 in a school affiliated with CBSE in the academic year 2023.
  • There is no age limit to appear for CBSE 10th exam 2023. But at the time of admission, a student must fulfil the maximum and minimum age limits as determined by the government of the State/UT of the place where the school is located.
  • They must have obtained 75 per cent attendance in class 10 during the academic year 2023.
  • The student must submit the examination form with the requisite fee before the deadline.
  • Only those applications accepted by the board will be allowed to sit for the CBSE class 10 exam 2023.

CBSE Class 10 Exam 2023 Eligibility for Private Students

  • Students who have failed class 10 in the last academic year.
  • Wards of teachers who serve in educational institutions/schools affiliated with CBSE.
  • Physically disabled students who have difficulty attending classes in a normal institution or school.
  • Female students who satisfy the following conditions:
    • She must be a bonafide resident of NCT in Delhi
    • She must have privately pursued the prescribed course of study
    • She is unable to join class 10 at a school affiliated with CBSE.

  • Progress report card from the previous class.
  • Transfer/School Leaving Certificate duly countersigned by the Educational Authorities.

CBSE has released the CBSE class 10 date sheet 2023 on 29th December 2022 on its official portal.

  • CBSE class 10th board 2023 is from 15th February 2023 to 21st March 2023.
  • CBSE regular schools will conduct practical exams from 2nd January 2023.

Candidates can check their CBSE class 10 board exam 2023 result from the official website by providing the necessary credentials.

  • Candidates must enter the necessary details like roll number, school code, and center code to view and download CBSE class 10 results 2023.
  • The passing marks are 33% in each subject as well as in aggregate.

CBSE Class 10 Compartment Exam 2023

CBSE conducts CBSE class 10 board exam 2023 compartment for students who cannot clear their regular board exams on their first attempt, even after providing grace marks.

  • The compartment exam will be conducted in July 2023 (tentative).
  • The online mark sheets are provisional.
  • The board issued the original mark sheet a few weeks after declaring the results.
  • Once the CBSE 10th results 2023 are declared, CBSE class 10 compartment exam 2023 dates will be released.
  • The duration of the compartment exam will be of 2 hours (10:30 AM to 12:30 PM).
