ISC 12th Board Exam 2023 - The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) released the results for the supplementary exam on 5th August 2023 on the official website. The compartment exam for class 12 students was conducted from 12th July 2023 to 13th July 2023.

ISC 12th Compartment Exam 2023

Some candidates fail to pass the ISC exams on the first attempt. For 2023, CISCE conducted the ISC examination for grade 12 offline in July 2023. The exact schedule for the supplementary exams was announced; 12th July 2023 to 13th July 2023.

In addition, students who are dissatisfied with their grades may take the supplemental exam. Once the registration forms for the supplementary exam are open, students must register and make the required payments.  

There are 4 types of candidates who sit for the ISC-12 exam:

Type 1: Candidates who regularly attend a school affiliated with CISCE.

Type 2: Candidates who have passed the ISC exam but want to improve their scores in a specific subject or topic.

Type 3: Candidates with attendance at an affiliated school. It should be noted that these candidates can only retake the exam once per year immediately after failing it and must continue to attend a CISCE-affiliated school.

Type 4: Candidates without attendance at an affiliated school.

Steps to Check ISC 12th Compartment Results 2023

The ISC class 12th compartment results were released online on 5th August 2023. Candidates must enter the required information to check the results. The steps to verify the ISC compartmental results 2023 are provided below.

Students can download the ISC class 12 board exam timetable directly from the website by following the procedure mentioned below:

1. Visit the official website - cisce.org.
2. Click on the link "ISC Compartment Time Table" under the "Notice Board" section.
3. The ISC compartment timetable PDF will open.
4. Download the PDF file of the date sheet and save it for future reference.

ISC 12th Compartment Application Form 2023

ISC 12th compartmental registration 2023 will be conducted online. CISCE published the registration form on the official website.

However, the school authorities will conduct the ISC online registration procedure for regular candidates. The procedure for the compartment exams is as follows:

1. Schools register eligible students online for ISC exams.
2. Schools can register their students through the "CAREERS" Portal in a one-week window.
3. The schools will then pay the exam fees online at the time of registration.

ISC 12th Board Exam 2024: Important Dates 

CISCE conducts one annual ISC 12th board exam. After the exams, the Council will release the results online in one or two months. After that, students can apply for ISC 12th board exam revaluation and rechecking.

The ISC 12th result 2023 is released on 14th May 2023, at cisce.org. Students can check their results using a unique ID and index number. Students can also check their ISC class 12 results by sending an SMS. CISCE will also hold improvement exams for eligible students.

Candidates can refer to the steps below to check their ISC 12th board exam results 2023.

1. Visit the official website - cisce.org. 
2. Select "ISC 12th Results".
3. Enter the required credentials and captcha as needed.
4. Then, select "Show/Print Results".
5. Next, you may now download the results to your PC or desktop.

In addition, other than the official website, the ISC 12th board results can be checked through the SMS and the Careers portal. Again, students may download the mark sheet from DigiLocker.

Check ISC Results 2023 Through SMS

Check out the steps to view your ISC class 12 results via SMS:

1. Open the default SMS application on your phone.
2. Then, type ISC (space) seven-digit unique ID (Example: ISC 1234567).
3. Send the message to 09248082883.

Once the message is sent, the results will be returned as a new text message on your phone.

Download ISC 12th Mark Sheet from DigiLocker

CISCE will post the digital grade sheets after the ISC 12 results are released. Students can find their digital grade sheets on DigiLocker. Downloading the grade sheets is relatively easy. Students must register on the website with their Aadhaar/cell phone number. Also, follow the steps below to register and download the mark sheet:

1. Visit the DigiLocker website - digilocker.gov.in.
2. Under the Education section, click on the CISCE tab.
3. Click on the ISC option to access exam results.
4. Registered candidates can enter their Aadhar/cell phone number, username, and security details PIN to log in.
5. If you are writing for the first time, click the "Sign up" link and register with your mobile number.
6. After logging in, download the document and save it for further use.

1. Log in to the portal CAREERS using the principal's login ID and password.
2. First, click on the title: "Examination System."
3. Click on "ISC" in the menu bar to access the ISC exam results.

ISC 12th Time Table 2024

ISC 12th Registration Form 2024

ISC class 12 students have to complete the ISC 12th registration form online under their school's guidance. ISC 12th Admit Card 2024

CISCE will issue ISC 12th admit card for all eligible students in offline mode in February 2024 (tentative). The school authorities issued the admit cards to candidates who have completed the registration process.

ISC 12th Exam Pattern 2024

ISC class 12 has one final exam at the end of the session. English is a compulsory language subject for ISC students. Moreover, the English Paper 1 consists of letter writing, directed writing, grammar, and comprehension. English Paper 2 will have drama and plays. • A student must score more than 33% in 5 subjects except English to pass the examination.
• No grace marks will be awarded to students, failing in any subject.
• The council does not entertain any request to revaluate the answer key after the declaration of the result.
• In class 12 there are internal assessments of 20 and 30 marks based on the subjects and the school prescribes the topic.
• Elective English is an optional subject apart from the compulsory English subject
• Students have to appear for 80 marks theoretical exam for both English and Mathematics instead of 100.
• The rest of the 20 marks will be assigned to project work where students will be given a chance to choose topics accordingly.
• Questions in Maths are generally asked from Algebra, Calculus, Vectors, Probability, and Linear Programming.
• English Paper I comprises the composition, writing short answer questions on grammar and comprehension.
• In English Paper II, one compulsory textual question on Shakespeare play/ alternative prescribed play with 4 other questions on minimum 3 texts.

The passing mark of the ISC 12th board exam is 40% in each subject as well as in aggregate.

• The Science paper's written exam is for 70 marks.
• Practical exams/internal assessments carry 30 marks.
• The written exam is for 100 marks for Elective English, Classical Languages, Foreign Languages, and English (1 & 2).

ISC 12th Exam Day Guidelines 2024

Students must follow the guidelines listed below for the grade 12 ISC exam:

• Arrive at the ISC exam site 30 minutes before the reporting time.
• Candidates who arrive late at the examination centre must provide a satisfactory explanation to the examiner.
• Read the general instructions on the question paper carefully.
• Answer only as many questions as are indicated in the paper.
• Sign your name at the top of the answer sheet in the space provided.
• At the top of the answer sheet, write your unique ID (Unique Identification Number), index number, and specify the subject.
• Use only a blue/black ballpoint pen to write the answers in the ISC 12th board exam 2023; students should use pencils when drawing the diagrams.
• Write the number of questions in the left margin according to the numbering system on the question paper.
• Students may use the Casio fx-82 MS (scientific calculator) or other calculators with similar functions.
• Students may write on both sides of the answer sheet unless the rubric prohibits it.

The ISC 12th online document verification service is fee-based for all organisations and individuals. However, a few organisations are exempt (e.g., government and defence organisations). Before applying for document review, applicants must have scanned copies of the documents ready for upload. In addition, scanned copies of authorisation letters are mandatory for each organisation.

• Registered users can log in with their credentials and access the 'Verification Requests" home page.
• Users who have not yet registered with the Council must create an account by visiting cisce.org.
• The process for submitting a review request differs for individuals, governmental and non-governmental organisations.
• However, one must be very careful when entering the required data.
• Required payments must be made for the successful submission of the online application.
• If necessary, the Council will contact you with any further questions.
• The review request update will also be available as "Approved/Declined" by the Council.

ISC 12th Instructions for Duplicate Document Request

Students may request a duplicate of documents if they have misplaced or obstructed them. They must follow the instructions of the board and make the required transactions. They must upload the requested supporting documents. Registered users can log in with their credentials and access the "Services" home page.

• Users who have not yet registered with the Council must create an account by visiting cisce.org.
• They are advised to read the Terms and Conditions carefully before entering your credentials.
• Applicants must select the documents for which duplicates are required
• Fees applicable to each document will also be indicated.
• After attaching the required documents, submit the application and make the payment through the window.

The ISC previous year question papers have been released by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) board to help students taking the yearly Class 12 Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations in 2024.
