Founded in 1874, Royal Military College (RMC) is the military college of the Canadian Armed Forces and is a degree-granting university training military officers. It is the only federal institution in Canada with degree-granting powers. RMC is part of the Canadian Defence Academy (CDA), which continues to exist now as an ‘Education Group’ composed of RMC.
