Université de Saint-Boniface (USB) is Western Canada's French-language public university that offers both university degrees, college diploma programs as well as technical and professional training. These programs are highly personalized and are designed to educate the leaders of society and to respond to the needs of students. The University is the only French Language University in the province of Manitoba.

USB was established in 1818 by Father Norbert Provencher, Université de Saint-Boniface is Western Canada's oldest post-secondary educational institution. It began as a small school where Latin was taught to the boys of the French-speaking Red River Colony.
