CBSE Class 12th Result 2021

Every year CBSE announces the class 12 results in the first week of May. However, for 2021, CBSE 12th board exam got cancelled. Therefore, CBSE will release the class 12th results based on the objective criteria set by the board. This year the board will declare the results based on the candidates' marks in class 10th, 11th, and 12th. However, this is only for the theory exams. The school authorities will allot the practical exam marks based on their allotment criteria. Also, as per the latest updates, the board will declare class 12th results by 31st July 2021.

After the results' declaration, if students are not satisfied with their marks, they can apply for re-evaluation/re-checking by paying a nominal fee and registering on the official website. CBSE class 12th re-evaluation and the re-checking option are usually made available four days after the announcement of CBSE 12th results on the official website.

It is quite an effortless task to check CBSE 12th board exam results online. Students can check their CBSE 12th results from the official website by following the step-by-step procedure given below.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the board - cbse.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the "Click for CBSE Results" link.

Step 3: A new window pops up with the "Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) 2021" link.

Step 4: Click on the link and enter the details such as "Roll Number", "School Number", and "Center Number". Once the details are filled click on "Submit".CBSE Class 12th Results 2021

How to Download CBSE 12th Digital Mark Sheet from Digilocker?

Upon the publication of results, students can download their digital mark sheets and certificates from Digilocker. These mark sheets and certificates are valid and digitally signed by CBSE. Therefore, students can download the digital copies and take printouts of them for further use. 

To download the mark sheets from Digilocker, students should register on the website using their Aadhar card/mobile number linked with CBSE. Signing up for a Digilocker account is quite easy. Students can follow the steps mentioned below to register and download the CBSE 12th mark sheets from Digilocker.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Digilocker - digilocker.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the CBSE tab on the homepage.

Step 3: Select the required certificate/mark sheet from the list.

Step 4: Already registered candidates can provide their Aadhar number/mobile number or username and the security PIN to log in. (for new registration, click on the "Sign up" link and register using the mobile number).

Step 5: After logging in, download the document and save it for further use.

CBSE 12th Revaluation/Rechecking Process

After checking the CBSE 12th results, the ultimate step is to wait for the mark sheets from the respective schools. However, if candidates feel that the marks awarded to them are lesser than what they expected, it is time to apply for revaluation or rechecking. Candidates will be short on time if they wait for revaluation or rechecking process. Therefore, CBSE specifies that candidates can apply for the re-evaluation within four days of the CBSE 12th results are released.

In 2020, girls performed better than boys in the CBSE class 12th board examination by scoring a 5.96% more than boys. Also, the pass percentage of transgender students was 66.67 percent. CBSE 12th Board Exam Toppers List

Along with the final exam results, CBSE also releases the list of toppers in the board exam. However, in 2020, CBSE did not announce the merit list. The following are the details of CBSE class 12th toppers from 2018 to 2020.
