Recounting of answer scripts
Suppose a candidate has appeared in the public examinations and is not satisfied with the results they got.
- In that case, the open school society provides them with an opportunity for recounting the answer scripts.
- In this process, the re-totaling of marks is done as well.
- During the recounting process, it is ensured that no question is left unevaluated.
- In the recounting process, answers are not re-evaluated. Only the counting is done correctly to find any mismatch.
One can also apply for re-checking the answer scripts of any subject, and this should be done within a specified time limit from the date of the result declaration. An application fee of Rs. 100/- for SSC and Rs. 200/- for Intermediate has to be paid per subject. The fee payment has to be done through the Mee-Seva portal for the re-checking of answer scripts.
Re-verification of answer scripts
The procedure to apply for the re-verification of answer scripts is the same as that of the recounting process. Candidates will have to pay the prescribed fee of Rs. 1000/- for SSC and Rs. 600/- for Intermediate per subject.
Note: If any candidate is found to practice unfair means in the examination, their examination will be cancelled, and they will be debarred from appearing in future exams. There are chances that the admission itself might get cancelled for the same reason.

To be declared passed in a subject and also to receive the certificates, the criteria laid down by the TOSS are as follows:
