Tamil Nadu 10th Registration Form 2026

The Directorate of Government Education, Tamil Nadu, has started the registration process for the science practical classes. The students have to register themselves in the Science practical classes so that they will be able to give their 10th board exams in the next March/April. The Tamil Nadu board has released the registration forms on their official website. The candidates can download the forms and print them.

Students should then fill out the registration forms and submit them to their respective District Educational Office. The candidates must ensure that all the details mentioned in the form are correct to avoid any inconvenience in the future. After filling the form, the candidates have to pay the registration fees of Rs. 125 to complete the process of registration process. The submission of the registration form and registration fees has to be done before the end of June. Differently-abled students and jail students can be exempted from filling this form.

• Name of the applicant - The applicant's name must be in capital letters. It should also match the name he/she has in his/her certificates.
• Name of the applicant's father/mother/guardian - The applicant's father's or mother's or guardian's full name must be mentioned in the registration form.
• Sex - The applicant must state his/her sex, whether male, female or transgender.
• Date of birth - The date of birth should be according to the English calendar. The candidate must carefully fill his/her date of birth as it is mentioned in his/her birth certificate provided by the Tamil Nadu Government
• Age - The age should be the one as it is on 01.03.2026.
• Permanent Residential Address - The full permanent address of the applicant must be mentioned.
• Address for communication - It should be the one where the letters can be sent.
• Educational Qualification - The educational qualification of the applicant must be mentioned.
• Medium chosen for Practical classes - The applicant has to mention the language in which he/she will the practical classes.
• Physically challenged - The applicant must mention whether he/she is physically challenged or not. If yes, then he/she should mention the nature of his/her physical disability.
• Contact Phone No. - A phone number must be mentioned on through which the contact can be made. The number should be checked carefully as it should not be invalid.
• Fee Particulars Amount - The amount which has been paid for registration has to be mentioned. The amount is Rs. 125.
• Postal stamp enclosed or not - It must be mentioned on the form whether a self-addressed cover with a postal stamp of Rs. 5 is enclosed with the registration form or not.
• Photo - A recent passport-size photo of the applicant must be affixed on the registration form.
• Signature - A full signature of the candidate must be done for the declaration. It should be very clear.
• Date of applying - The date on which the candidate is applying should be mentioned.
• Place of applying - The place in which the candidate is applying should be mentioned.

• Step 2: In the ‘Latest Notification About Examinations’ section of the homepage, click on the option SSLC Examination.
• Step 3: The link for the registration form will appear on the screen. Click on that link.
• Step 4: The registration form will appear. You can now download the form.
• Step 5: After downloading the form, print it.
• Step 6: After taking out the printout of the form, fill in the details carefully.
• Step 7: When the form has been filled out, submit it to the District Educational Office along with the registration fee in cash.
