APOSS Intermediate Passing Marks 2025: The Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS) conducted the APOSS Inter exam in March 2025. Exams for intermediate students were administered from March 3, 2025, to March 15, 2025. The APOSS Inter result of these tests will be announced in April 2025 (tentative).

The passing marks for the APOSS Intermediate exams are 35%.To pass, students must receive at least 35% in each subject. The sum of the scores from the theory and practical tests is used to determine the final score. A student will be deemed to have failed if their grade is less than 35%. Question papers of some subjects are set for a maximum of 100 marks in theory and no practical, while other subjects are of 80 marks in theory and 20 marks in practical. Apart from receiving 35% in all subjects, the student must also attain a minimum of 35% as the average percentage.

The students are also allotted grades according to the marks received by them. The students must also receive a passing grade in all the subjects to pass the board exams. Students are given grades that range from A1 to F by the APOSS grading scheme. The APOSS Intermediate Grading system has eight grades in all, ranging from A1 to F.
The best possible mark for a student is an A1, and the lowest possible grade is an F. A student's grades are determined by adding up all of their scores from both theory and practical tests. To pass the intermediate board exams, pupils need to receive at least a D. Students getting a grade F are considered as failed.

If a student is not able to get passing marks in one or more subjects, he/she can apply for the supplementary exams. The supplementary exams give a second chance to the students to score passing marks and clear the board exams. The Andhra Pradesh Open Board is going to conduct the supplementary exams in October 2025 (tentatively).
To apply for the supplementary exams, the students must first fill out the application form on the official website and then pay a nominal fee. One month following the checking of the supplementary exams, the results will be announced. To avoid having to retake the board exams with the next class, the students must also receive passing marks in the supplementary exams. The passing marks for the supplementary exams are also 35%.
