After receiving the marksheets, students may not be satisfied by their marks for which they have the option of Recounting and Reverification. If the students send their answer sheets for recounting, their copies will be counted again to check whether the total marks are calculated correctly or not.
For recounting, the students need to pay an amount of Rs. 260 per subject. If the students send their answer sheets for rechecking, their copies will be evaluated again to check whether there is any mistake in checking the copies or not. Reverification is only applicable to the questions which were left unchecked or marked zero. For re-verification, the students need to pay an amount of Rs. 1300 per subject. The fee paid is not refundable, so even if the marks remain the same after recounting or re-verification, the students will not get the refund.
The students can apply for recounting and re-verification on the official website of the Andhra Pradesh board. In the application, the students must give their hall ticket number, date of birth and captcha.
