CBSE Class 12 Exam Pattern 2026
According to the CBSE Class 12 Exam Pattern 2026, the exams will be conducted for 100 marks each, including theory marks and practical/internal assessment marks. The theory paper will be of 70 marks for the science subjects and the rest of the subjects will be of 80 marks each. The theory paper will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours. The question paper will include 20% MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions), 30% competency-based questions and 50% short/long answer questions. The passing marks for the exam are a minimum of 33% in each subject.
