CGBSE 10th passing marks in all the subjects are 33 out of 100 marks. Including theory, practical, or projects, the CGBSE 10th exam is conducted for 100 marks. The theory exam is conducted with a maximum of 75 marks and projects or practical exams of 25 marks.

To be considered passed in the CGBSE 10th exam 2026, students have to pass both the theory and the practical/ projects. If students fail to do so, they have to appear in a supplementary exam. CGBSE 10th Passing Marks 2026: Supplementary Exams

The CGBSE 10th supplementary exam is conducted so that students who have failed in one or two subjects get a chance to re-appear in the exam and improve their marks. The syllabus of the supplementary exam is the same as for the regular exam, but there is a separate application process for that.

Only those candidates who are appearing in this exam are eligible to apply for registration and the application process with the required fees. Candidates who fail every subject are not allowed to appear for the supplementary exam. They have to repeat the 10th class.
