Students shall check the grades of each subject according to the marks scored. To calculate the overall grade, sum up the grade points and divide them by the total number of subjects.
This is the Cumulative Grading Point Average. Now, to get the percentage, multiply the CGPA by 9.5 for an approximation percentage. After calculation, add all the grade points and divide the grade points with the total number of subjects and the final value obtained by calculation will be the UP board GPA.
A minimum D grade is required for the candidate to pass the UP board exam. Below is a table on how to calculate the GPA.

Students can improve their scores in case they've obtained less than the required marks through supplementary examinations.
