The Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS) will conduct the 12th board exams in March 2026 (tentative). The exams will be conducted in March 2026 (tentative). The APOSS Inter result will be declared in April 2026 (tentatively).

The APOSS Intermediate grading system is decided by the Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS). According to the grading system of the APOSS, students are allotted grades between A1 and F. There are a total of eight grades in the APOSS Intermediate Grading system, ranging from A1 to F. A1 is the highest grade that can be allotted to a student, and F is the lowest grade.
The grades are allotted to a student based on the total marks received by the student. The students must get a minimum grade of D to pass the board exams. Students getting a grade of F are considered as 'failed'. The following table describes the APOSS Intermediate Grading System 2026 in detail.

Students are expected to get a minimum grade of D to pass the exams. Thus. The passing mark for the APOSS Intermediate exams is 35%. Students must attain a minimum of 35% in all the subjects. The total marks are calculated based on the marks received in both theory and practical exams. If a student receives marks less than 35% or a grade F, he/she will be considered 'Failed'.
The exams of all the subjects are conducted for a total of 100 marks. These marks are further divided into theory marks and practical marks. The theory marks are further divided into various sections or parts, each carrying different marks and weightage. The grades received by the students will also be mentioned in the mark sheet of the student. The students will get their marksheet in April 2026 (tentatively) after the results are declared in digital format only from the official website apopenschool.ap.gov.in. The students must download their mark sheets and print them for documentation purposes in future institutions.
If a student is not satisfied with his/her marks, after the result is out, he/she can apply for the revaluation of their answer sheets. The students have to apply for revaluation after the results are declared, on the official website and are also supposed to pay the revaluation fee. The rechecked copies will be out within 3-4 weeks. The marks may increase, decrease, or stay the same after rechecking the copies.
If a student is not able to get passing marks in one or more subjects, he/she can apply for the supplementary exams. The Andhra Pradesh Open Board will conduct the supplementary exams in October 2026 (tentatively). The date sheet for the supplementary exams will be released on the official website of APOSS. To apply for the supplementary exams, the students must pay a nominal fee. The results of the supplementary exams will be declared one month after the supplementary exams. The students must attain passing marks in supplementary exams otherwise they will have to take the board exams again in the following academic year.
