Calculation of Percentage using AP Intermediate Grading System

Students can convert their grades into percentages using the AP Intermediate grading system. Let's suppose the overall grade of a student is B1. The grade point corresponding to the AP Intermediate Grading System is 8.

Multiply 8 by 9.5. The result obtained is 68% which is the overall percentage of students. Further, students can also calculate percentage from the marks obtained. For that,

  1. Find the sum of the marks obtained in all the subjects.
  2. Divide that sum by the total number of subjects from which the sum is obtained.
  3. Multiply the result obtained with 100. The final result will be the required percentage of students.
