Calculation of Percentage using AP Intermediate Grading System
Students can convert their grades into percentages using the AP Intermediate grading system. Let's suppose the overall grade of a student is B1. The grade point corresponding to the AP Intermediate Grading System is 8.
Multiply 8 by 9.5. The result obtained is 68% which is the overall percentage of students. Further, students can also calculate percentage from the marks obtained. For that,
- Find the sum of the marks obtained in all the subjects.
- Divide that sum by the total number of subjects from which the sum is obtained.
- Multiply the result obtained with 100. The final result will be the required percentage of students.
AP Intermediate Grading System: Supplementary Exams
Students who fail in any of the subjects in the AP Intermediate exam can re-appear for the exam by filling out the supplementary form. The supplementary exam is going to be held in May or June 2026 (tentative).
