CGBSE Class 12 Marksheet - Download CGBSE Class 12 Original Marksheet PDF here

The CGBSE class 12 marksheet is usually released by the board on its official website (cgbse.nic.in) in May 2026 (tentative). The marksheet is released soon after the declaration of results. However, you can download a provisional marksheet online from the website of the board. The students can collect their original marksheet from the school or the Digilocker app.

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education will release the CGBSE Class 12 Result 2026 in April 2026 (tentative). After the declaration of the results, the board issues an original mark sheet to the school authorities. The CGBSE Class 12 Exam 2026 is conducted in March for the upcoming session. The practical exams are conducted before the theory exams, usually from January 1 to January 31st. There is a single shift for theory exams and two shifts for the practical exams.

2. Look for the link by the name Higher Secondary class 12th examination results.
3. Enter the roll number and the capture code required to obtain the result.
4. Click on the submit button, and a new page will appear.
5. The page will be displaying your CGBSE class 12 marksheet.

How to download the CGBSE 12th provisional mark sheet? 

The score card of the class 12 board examinations is released on the official website of the board that is cgbse.nic.in. Students can follow the steps below to download the results from the website. 

1. Go to the official website of the cgbse board that is cgbse.nic.in or visit resultscg.nic.in.
2. Look for a link by the name Higher Secondary class 12th examination results 2026. Tap on the link.
3. A new page will open asking for your credentials.
4. Enter the details like roll number and the captcha code, and click on the submit button.
5. The next page will take you to your provisional marksheet.
6. You can download the provisional mark sheet and take a printout for your future reference. 

How to download the CGBSE class 12 marksheet from the Digilocker app?

Another way to download your scorecard is through the Digilocker application. If you are already a user of this app, simply log in, and if you are using this app for the first time, sign up and create an account. 

Below is a step-by-step application to check your scorecard through the DigiLocker app. 

1. Install the digilocker application if you don't have it on your mobile phones or simply visit the website of the digilocker app.
2. Under the browse state option, select Chhattisgarh.
3. Select the board that is the Chhattisgarh State Board of Secondary Education.
4. You will be presented with multiple options. Click on the Class 12 marksheet option.
5. It will ask you for your details like Aadhar card number and 6 digit security pin. Enter the details and submit them.
6. You will get your CGBSE Class 12 marksheet you can download and save for future use.

How to download the CGBSE class 12 marksheet via SMS?

 You can also download your CBSE Class 12 marksheet through the SMS facility provided on your phones. 

1. Open the messaging app on your smartphone.
2. Type the following text - CG12 (space) roll number
3. Send the typed text to the number 56263.
4. Send the type of message to the given number from the number that is registered with the board.
5. Immediately, you will receive your CGBSE class 12 result.
6. Download and save the class 12 marksheet or take a screenshot.

The original marksheet will, however, be distributed by the school heads to the students. 

CGBSE class 12 marksheet: Passing Marks criteria 

A student needs to score a minimum of 33% marks to pass in every subject. The criteria are also the same for the aggregate to pass the exam. The practical subjects’ theory exam, like physics and chemistry, is conducted for a total of 70 marks, out of which passing marks are 23. For other subjects like Hindi, English, accounts, business studies, economics, etc., the theory exam is conducted for 80 marks, out of which 26 are the passing marks. In the case of mathematics, the case is different. The entire paper is conducted for a total of 100 marks, out of which a student needs to score a minimum of 33 marks to pass the exam.

For practical exams, a 30-mark practical exam is conducted for physics and chemistry, out of which a student needs to score 10 marks. For other subjects, the practical exam or the internal assessment marks are for a total of 20 marks, out of which passing marks are 6.

CGBSE class 12th revaluation or rechecking 

If the students are not happy with their obtained marks, they can apply for revaluation or rechecking. The application form for the same will be available once the results for the CGBSE Class 12th regular exams are announced. The application for the rechecking or revaluation and obtaining a Xerox copy of the answer sheet will be available in June, and the result will be declared by the end of June.

Discrepancy in the marksheet and the correction procedure 

There can be cases where the student can find an error in the details on the original marksheet of the CGBSE class 12. In any such case, a student needs to contact the school authorities immediately. Write an application bringing to notice the errors in detail, and along with that, attach all the necessary documents as proof. The School will further coordinate with the board, and a new original marksheet will be issued to you as soon as possible.
