The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will release the weightage of chapters in Bihar Board class 12, along with the exam pattern on the official website at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. As per the updated Bihar Board class 12 exam pattern 2026, the 12th exam will consist of 50% MCQs and 50% subjective-type questions. However, the papers that consist of both practical and theoretical exams will consist of 35 multiple-choice questions. 

The total allotted marks in the Bihar Board 12th exam 2026 are 500, which includes 100 marks per subject. Students will have to score at least 30% marks in a subject to pass the examination. For candidates who fail to score the required passing marks in a subject, the marks obtained in the additional subject will be considered instead. The paper will be conducted for 100 marks, out of which 80 will be given for theory and 20 will be given for practical.
