The HSC (Class 12) marksheet is an official document issued by MSBSHSE to certify the performance of students. In May 2026 (tentative), the HSC results will be declared for students who appeared for the Maharashtra HSC Exam 2026. The direct link will be available on the official website of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE). 

Students need to check the marksheet thoroughly for any form of errors in grades, name, or roll number. If an error is found in the Maharashtra HSC Result 2026, students must immediately inform their school authorities.  Marksheets are required by students when enrolling in any university for higher studies. 

Maharashtra HSC Marksheet 

The School authorities will distribute the Maharashtra HSC Marksheet. After the release of the results, Students will get access to their mark sheets after a few weeks. Students need to log in to the official website to get their results. Students can access their HSC results through these portals:

  • results.digilocker.gov.in.

Once students receive their marksheet, they must take a photocopy of it for future reference. Those students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for revaluation or rechecking. One must apply for the same within the given timeline. 

Students who can't score the minimum percentage to qualify must appear for the supplementary exams.

Maharashtra HSC results are usually declared in the first week of May. In 2025, on May 5 2025, at 1 PM, the results were declared. The mark sheets are essential for college admissions, competitive exams, and document verification. Students are advised to collect the marksheet, take a photocopy, and keep it in a secure place. 

How to Obtain the Maharashtra HSC Marksheet?

A student can view their results through various media. School authorities will distribute the marksheets once the results are announced. Students should contact their school heads for details regarding the marksheet.

DigiLocker:
The Maharashtra Board has made it easy for students to download their digital HSC marksheet from DigiLocker. This platform offers secure online access to academic records.

Steps to Download:

  • Open the DigiLocker App.
  • The next step is Registration with an Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
  • Go to the  “Education” tab. Select the MSBSHSE link.
  • Click on “HSC Marksheet.” 
  • Enter details such as your seat number, year of passing, and date of birth.
  • Download or print your marksheet. 

E-Marksheet Portal:
Visit the portal  boardmarksheet.maharashtra.gov.in. Log in with credentials to download or verify the e-marksheet.

Importance of the Maharashtra HSC Marksheet

The HSC marksheet needs to be kept in a secure folder, as it will be necessary for other documentation purposes 

  • Eligibility for Higher Education: Colleges and universities require the HSC marksheet during the admission process for undergraduate courses. Cut-off marks are usually based on HSC performance.

Steps to Retrieve Maharashtra HSC Marksheet

MSBSHSE has a procedure in place for those students who have lost their Identity card. Students need to report to the school authorities if they lose their marksheet by chance. 

To Apply for a Duplicate Marksheet:

1. File a police complaint and get a copy of the FIR or General Diary. 

2. Visit the school/college to collect and fill out the application form for a duplicate certificate.

3. Submit the filled form along with: 

  • Photocopy of the original marksheet (if available)
  • Identity proof
  • FIR copy
  • Affidavit (notarized) stating the loss of the marksheet

4. Pay the required processing fee. 

Once the application is processed, a duplicate marksheet will be issued within a few weeks.
