The students are also allotted divisions according to the marks they received. If the students are not able to get passing marks in any subject, no division will be allotted to them in that subject.
The highest division that a student can get in any subject is the distinction, and the lowest division that a student can get in any subject is the third division.
The division system can be explained by the following table:
| Division | Percentage Required |
|---|---|
| Distinction | 75% and above |
| First Division | 60% and above but less than 75% |
| Second Division | 50% and above but less than 60% |
| Third Division | 33% and above but less than 50% |
The marks received by the students will also be mentioned in the marksheet of the student. The students will get their marksheet after the results are declared in May 2026 (tentatively).
The students can download their provisional marksheet in digital format, and other than that, their respective schools will provide them with their original marksheets within a few weeks after the results are declared. The marksheet contains various types of information about the student, like student details, subject-wise marks, grades, total marks received by the student, division, and pass/fail status of the student.
If a student is not satisfied with his/her marks, after the result is out, he/she can apply for the revaluation of their answer sheets. The students have to apply for revaluation after the results are declared, on the official website, and are also supposed to pay the revaluation fee.
While applying for revaluation, the students must mention the subjects, the copies of which they want to get rechecked. The revaluation fee for one subject is Rs. 500. The rechecked copies will be provided to the students by their respective schools. The marks may increase, decrease, or stay the same after rechecking the copies.
