The Nagaland Board of Secondary Education (NBSE) is responsible for releasing the NBSE HSLC registration form. The application form is released around October, tentatively. A registration fee of Rs 1350/- is payable to the board. The registration form submission is open till the month of November 2026. 

It is mandatory to register for the examination to appear for the NBSE HSLC Board Exam 2026. Details like name, date of birth, father's name, mother's name, community, optional subject, if any, and second language are to be filled in. The notification regarding the registration form will be released online on the official website of the board - nbsenl.edu.in.  The NBSE HSLC Application Form 2026 will be filled out online only.

How To Fill Out the NBSE HSLC Registration Form 2026?

It is the responsibility of the school authorities to download the application form from the official website of the board - nbsenl.edu.in. Below is a step-by-step explanation to fill out and submit the application form:

  1. Open the official website of the board - nbsenl.edu.in.
  2. On the homepage, you will find the notification tab on the left sidebar. Tap on it.
  3. You will find a notification regarding the filling of registration forms.
  4. Ask your school authorities and submit all the necessary details required to fill the form.
  5. Pay the amount of the fee payable and register yourself under the guidance of the school.
  6. Keep an application form for reference in the future.

Documents Required For NBSE HSLC Registration Form 2026

A scanned copy in JPG, JPEG format must be submitted by the students to the school authorities, which are to be uploaded online while filling out the NBSE HSLC registration form. Below is a list showing all the necessary documents that are to be submitted.

  • Latest passport-sized photograph.
  • Signature of the student in preferably black ink
  • A valid identity proof - Aadhaar card, ration card, passport, etc.
  • Valid proof of date of birth
  • Valid proof of residence
  • Social category or caste certificate
  • Ex-serviceman certificate, if applicable
  • Disability certificate, if applicable

Important Details for NBSE HSLC Registration Form

The following information is required from the students to fill out the Nagaland HSLC registration form. 

  • Category: Two options will be provided, out of which you need to choose one that is applicable - regular or private.
  • School name: Fill in the school name correctly.
  • Name of the candidate: The name is written by the applicant in capital letters. Also, make sure you mention the name mentioned in your certificates, as the same will be used in the future.
  • Details of the guardian: The guardian/ parent’s name will be written both in English and Hindi.
  • Date of birth: The date of birth is to be written as per the birth certificate issued by the Government of India.
  • Gender and caste: Candidates need to choose a caste, which should be verified along with the community certificate issued by the government of Nagaland during the admission. Similarly, choose your gender.
  • Physically Handicapped (PH): You need to choose from two options - yes/ no. If you fall under this category, you need to specify and verify, along with a medical certificate.
  • Religion: Select the religion to which you belong
  • Email ID and mobile number: Enter your functional mobile number, email ID, which will be used for communication further.
  • Communication address: You need to write your communication address or permanent address. Make sure you have an address certificate proof with you.
  • Identification marks: Candidates need to provide any two identification marks that are visible and permanent. These can include moles marks, etc.
  • Signatures of parents and candidates: Parents of the applicant need to provide their signature, which will ensure that all the details mentioned in the form are true and correct.
  • Photograph and signature: Latest passport-sized photograph of the candidate is required. The dimensions of the photograph should be 4.5cm × 3.5 cm. Candidates must provide a clear signature that is readable.
