VITEEE Syllabus 2023

VITEEE 2023 is similar to the NCERT syllabus of classes 11 and 12. Candidates must thoroughly go through VITEEE syllabus before applying for the exam. VITEEE Exam Day Instructions 2023

Due to the covid situation, VITEEE 2023 examination can be taken up in the comfort of the candidate's home. However, VITEEE 2023 exam conducting authority has issued a few rules that the candidates need to follow while taking up VITEEE online remote proctored Examination (OPRE). Some of which have been listed below. 

  • Once the exam starts, candidates should fully view the proctor and secondary device. Candidates are requested not to move away or block the camera, which will result in disqualification. 
  • Changing tabs in the middle of the exam should be prevented. It is also recorded on the proctor and will alert the candidates. If the behaviour is repeated, the candidate can be debarred from attempting the exam. 
  • The average time to answer each question is around 1 minute; hence candidates are requested to look at the primary device's screen while solving their questions to ensure they are taking the test correctly. 
  • Connecting to any other external device must be avoided, such as Bluetooth headphones or any other display. Doing so will lead to immediate termination of the session and disqualification. 
  • Do not answer any calls on the phone or the primary device. 
  • Candidates must ensure that no people are talking next to them as all the audio is listened to and captured. If the proctor suspects any malpractice is happening, it will lead to immediate disqualification. 
  • Do not try to take any screenshots or attempt to screen record the examination, leading to immediate disqualification.
  • Do not attempt to press any combination keys as it may lead to exiting the examination prematurely. 
  • It is recommended that only a mouse be used for navigation and answering since necessary buttons for navigation and answering are given in the user interface. Use the keyboard only to type chat messages or to get support.
  • All questions and choices have been thoroughly checked, and one should answer the question and the choices as they are displayed.

Candidates must also keep their primary device a laptop/ desktop with a camera, speaker, and mic. Candidates must also make sure these are fully charged and have a connected power outlet when needed. And a secondary devise/ third eye as an android or iOS mobile phone with a functional front camera.

Secondary Device (Mandatory)

Network connection (Mandatory)

  • A stable network connection to each device at a minimum upload/ download bandwidth of 256 kpbs should be available throughout the test window, i.e. two hours (30 minutes for pretest checking and 90 minutes for actual test).
  • The test platform will assess the network and device capabilities and allow the candidate to proceed only to comply with the test requirements mentioned above. Else, the applicant cannot proceed with the exam.
