The Central Board of Secondary Education opened the submission window for the CBSE Class 12th registration form 2026 on September 16, 2025. The CBSE 12th registration last date 2026 was October 16, 2025, without charging a late fee.

Regular candidates are not allowed to submit the CBSE class 12th 2026 registration form independently, unlike private candidates. If the details submitted by the candidates are incorrect, then the respective school authorities can apply for rectification through a separate special Centralised Admission Master Correction System (CAMC).

For CBSE registration for class 12 2026, the registration fee for CBSE class 12th exam 2026 is INR 1500 for five subjects, and students have to pay an additional charge of INR 300 per subject for any extra subjects.. • Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE - cbse.gov.in.
• Step 2: Click on the "Submission of Examination Forms by Private Candidates Class XII" link under the recent announcements section.
• Step 3: Candidates are then required to click on the "Continue" button on the following page.
• Step 4: Now select the category and class from the list, as shown in the image below, and complete the CBSE Class 12 Registration 2026.

Candidates who wish to appear in the CBSE class 12 compartment exam must submit an application form in June 2026 (tentative). CBSE 12th Board Examination 2026 Important Points

Students must consider some specific guidelines that will help them appear for board exams without facing any challenges. Below is a list of important points relevant to the CBSE 12th board exam 2026.

1. Once allotted, the examination center is final.
2. No request for a change of examination center will be accepted.
3. The board will allow an examination center based on the applicant's current residential address.
4. Candidates will only be able to apply for subjects that are auto-generated by the system.
5. The board will allow a new CBSE roll number to class 12 candidates who appear for the examination in the current year.
6. In no case will the candidates be allowed to appear with their past roll numbers.
7. Admit cards for eligible candidates can be downloaded from the official CBSE website.
8. The regional office will send the original mark sheet/certificate to the center where the candidate appeared. Candidates can collect the mark sheet/certificate from the examination center upon submitting the original admit card.
