For general admission, applicants will be required Grade 12 (senior secondary), English, and four additional Grade 12 (senior secondary) academic or advanced courses. A minimum of 70 % average is required for all programs. Acadia University received more than 3,400 applicants for the class of 2021 and the average entering grade is 86 %.

Located at the center of campus, Vaughan Memorial Library is home to six floors of print and multimedia resources, digital resources, and various individual and group study cases. The library has a team of student assistants, librarians, staff, and archivists who work together to provide the services to students and staff. The library provides a variety of services to the campus and the local community. There are 19 study rooms, 2 student printers, 2 scanners/photocopiers, and a Microform Reader with scanning capability.
