When was Laurentian University Established?
Incorporated on March 28, 1960, Laurentian University primarily focuses on undergraduate programs. It also houses Canada’s newest medical school “The Northern Ontario School of Medicine” which was opened in 2005.
Located on the south side of Ramsey Lake, just south of Greater Sudbury’s downtown core, the Laurentian university is a mid-sized bilingual university.
Laurentian University's Honours Bachelor of Social Work (HBSW) program is given a four-year accreditation status by the Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE).
