The University of Quebec in Outaouais (UQO) is a constituent university of the University of Quebec and is located in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. UQO has experienced significant growth in the last few years by the development of new study programs, the obtaining of new Canada research chairs, and the creation of the Institute of Temperate Forest Sciences (ISFORT) in Ripon as well as the Outaouais Development Observatory.
