Financial Aid and Scholarships at KPU

KPU also provides financial aid through SAFA in the form of scholarships, grants, student loans,work-study, and bursaries. Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) require that students have access to sufficient funding for tuition, student fees, and living expenses for the duration of their studies before being issued a study permit. Funding administered by KPU can only be supplemental and cannot be used for the core funding requirements for the student's visa/study permit. Some of the funds available for students are:

How can I get into Kwantlen Polytechnic University?

KPU's admission requirements differ on the basis of program types which are open intake and limited intake. Admission requirements for international students at KPU include proof of your previous study, English language proficiency test scores (EPT/ PTE/ CAEL/ IELTS/ TOEFL/ LPI), and other supporting documents. Currently, KPU is accepting international applications for some programs and semesters (Fall and Spring 2022). Fall- September 2022 semester is open for open-intake programs in the Faculty of health, Wilson School of Design, School of Business, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science & Horticulture, and Faculty of Trades & Technology.
