Financial Aid and Scholarships at George Brown College

George Brown College offers in-program awards based on students’ academic performance and other criteria. These awards are provided at the start of the academic program. International students are eligible for both George Brown College funded scholarships and externally funded scholarships. Some of the scholarships for international students at George Brown College are given below:

  • Diploma/ Degree Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded to eligible returning students in full-time post-secondary programs. A total of 31 scholarships are awarded in the Fall term with 14 scholarships worth $5,000 and 17 scholarships worth $1,000. In the Winter term, 6 scholarships worth $5,000 and 9 scholarships worth $1,000 are awarded to international students registered in a full-time 2, 3, or 4-year diploma or degree program.

The scholarship amount is $2,000. GBC awards 12 scholarships in the January term, 7 in the May term, and 15 in the September term.
