FNUC offers undergraduate, graduate, diploma, and certificate programs in different fields of study. It also offers the formation of an 18-credit (6 courses) Certificate of Reconciliation Studies (CRS) for its students. It also maintains a Dene immersion educational setting with the help of the Clearwater River Dene Nation and the Northern Lights School Division.

FNUC mandates its students to have completed secondary school consequences of the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades.
