Biola University was established in 1908. It is a nationally regarded Christian university situated in the centre of Southern California.
Biola University's main campus is located at 13800 Biola Avenue, La Mirada, CA 90639. Biola Avenue runs through the university on the west, and La Mirada Boulevard runs through it on the east. It is situated between Rosecrans Avenue and Imperial Highway, two major east-west thoroughfares. The Santa Ana Freeway is about three miles to the southwest.
Biola University has received institutional accreditation from the WASC Senior College and University Commission (1961).
