The University of Texas at Austin, also known as UT Austin, UT, or Texas, is a public research university in Austin, Texas, and the flagship institution of the University of Texas System. Founded in 1883, the University of Texas was inducted into the Association of American Universities in 1929. It was the third university in the American South to be elected for the same. UT has the nation's eighth-largest single-campus enrollment, with over 50,000 undergraduate and graduate students and over 24,000 faculty and staff. The campus covers 431 acres. 

A Public Ivy, it is a major center for academic research, with research expenditures totaling $679.8 million for the fiscal year 2018. UT houses seven museums and seventeen libraries, including the LBJ Presidential Library and the Blanton Museum of Art, and operates various auxiliary research facilities, such as the J. J. Admission Details

International applicants have to demonstrate English proficiency through one of the internationally recognized standardized examinations in English as proof of English proficiency. TOEFL: 78 and IELTS: 6.5 test scores are required for admission into TSU. Application form submitted after the deadline date will not be entertained. The scores of the test ACT: 23 and SAT: 520 are also accepted by the TSU admission office. The acceptance rate of TSU is 73% with two intakes per year, Fall and Spring. All applicants have to apply for admission through online mode or through the ApplyTexas. After paying a non-refundable amount of 90 USD for UG and PG courses the international students can proceed with their application at TSU.
