Since 1949, the University of Pacific (UOP) has been accredited by the Accrediting Commission for senior colleges and universities of WASC Senior College and University Commission.

Education at University of Pacific

UOP offers over 80 undergraduate areas of study in 11 schools and colleges, over 30 graduate and professional programs, and 12 sped-up programs. It also conducts some specific programs and those special programs include Pacific's honors program, Pacific humanities scholars program, Pacific legal scholars program, The Powell scholars program, and Pacific seminar.

Financial Aid and Scholarships at University of Pacific

Various kinds of scholarships are provided by UOP, although If the candidate is an international student who graduated from a high school that is located in the United States, they will be considered for a domestic academic merit scholarship upon admission to UOP. For the 2020-21 year merit, scholarship amounts range from $8,000 to $24,000.

  • International Student Merit Scholarship of $15,000 is limited to International students who graduated from a high school that is located outside of the United States
  • Athletic scholarships are available to eligible international students
  • University of Pacific's Powell Scholarship: For the 2020-21 year, the Scholarship is $42,000. Powell Scholars may receive additional funding for study abroad and research opportunities
  • Regent's scholarship
  • President’s Scholarship through which students can avail 20,000-24,000 USD based on academic performances.
