CBSE Class 10th and 12th registration fee details.
CBSE board increased the registration fee for class 10th and 12th. The board increased the fee for different categories from Rs 50 to Rs 1200. As per the latest announcement, General category candidates will have to pay Rs 1500 whereas ST/SC candidates now need to pay Rs 1200 for five subjects. The fee is applicable for both class 10th and 12th.
General category candidates will have to pay Rs 300 for additional subjects instead of Rs 150 earlier.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) starts the registration procedure for class 12th in the academic year of class 11th itself, which is through the concerned schools. The eligible candidates can apply online at the earliest by October 2020 (Tentative) which is subjected to change every year.
The registration form for class 12th exams will be published by CBSE on the official website. It is obligatory for all the candidates of 12th class to fill CBSE 12th registration or application form 2020 at the earliest. Students who neglect to do so will not be permitted to appear for CBSE 12th board exam 2020.

Registration Fees: The candidates can pay the application/registration fee via NEFT or e-challan.

Step 3: Click on the in-focus tab on the right side menu and select the option depending upon which exam you wish to appear for.
Step 4: Click on the portal for private candidates for 2020 examination and click on the continue.
Step 5: Now select the category and proceed for completing the registration process
Step 6: Enter previous roll number, previous year of examination, 5 digit school number and center number then select your class as 10th or 12th

CBSE conducts the board examination for regular students studying in schools affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. There are number of students who are not a part of regular schooling. Those students can appear in the CBSE board examination as private candidates. They have to fill CBSE private candidate admission form 2020. The criteria are as follows.
Candidates who got re-compartment in class 12th and are not accepted in any school.
Candidates who wish to reappear in all subjects.
Candidates who are willing to apply for improvement of marks/grades after 12th.
Women candidates (Delhi) who are appearing for board exams privately.
Teachers in CBSE affiliated schools, willing to study further.
Submission of Registration forms for Class- XII Private Candidates 2020
No form will be accepted in offline mode. All forms will only be accepted on online mode and as per the schedules are given.
Fees for all applicants will be accepted only through digital payment mode. Fee can also be paid through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card (both national/ international). No fee shall be accepted in offline mode i.e DD/ Postal Order /Money order/ cheque etc. No application will be accepted without fee.
Candidates will be given question papers in the same medium as filled in the Form. Meaning thereby, if a candidate is opting English as a medium, he will be supplied QP in only the English language. If a student opting Hindi as a medium, he will be supplied bilingual QP i.e. in Hindi & English. Candidates are therefore requested to fill the correct medium of Question Paper and correct option only to avoid the last-minute problem. The medium will not be changed later on.
Details of the respect of candidates who had already appeared in the Board examination held in 2019 examination will be auto-generated online. However, candidates of 2018 or prior are required to submit the details on the online portal. If a candidate makes wrong entries in the application form or had given a false statement or produces a false document, his/her form shall be rejected, the fee paid shall also be forfeited and such candidates shall be considered to have used unfair practices and shall be dealt with accordingly.
It has also been observed that some of the candidates who have completed the online process of application but had not remitted the fee. If a fee is not remitted by the last date, his/her application will be rejected without any notice.
Mere submission of form and payment of the fee will not confer a right on the candidate for appearing in the examination. His/her eligibility will depend upon fulfilling the eligibility conditions as prescribed by the Board.
The candidate whose result has been declared as FAIL at
Candidate applying under the COMPARTMENT category and cannot apply for appearing in Additional subject together
A candidate whose result has been declared as
COMPARTMENT in March 2019 and July 2019 to
apply only in the same subject in which he/she has been
placed in the Compartment.
Such a candidate who has been placed in Compartment
in one subject may also apply for appearing in 5/6
subjects on which he/she had appeared in March 2019
examination. Such candidate should select his/her
category as FAILURE while applying online.
Candidate applying under COMPARTMENT category
cannot apply for appearing in Additional subject
IMPROVEMENT OF PERFORMANCE
Candidate applying for Improvement of Performance is not allowed to apply for appearing in an Additional subject together.

Candidate applying for Additional Subject is not allowed to apply for appearing Improvement of Performance together
A candidate who has passed Board examination can apply for an additional subject from the list of subjects enclosed, within 06 years of passing the examination (pass-outs of 2014/15/16/17/18 are eligible to apply). However, a candidate cannot apply for a subject involving practical work. Candidates are allowed to take subjects having the project component
Examination center once allotted is final and no request for change of examination center will be accepted. Examination center will be allotted by the board based on the current residential address of the applicant.
Candidates will be able to apply only for subjects that are auto-generated by the system.
New Roll Number will be allotted by the board for the candidates appearing for the examination in the current year. In no case, the candidates will be allowed to appear with their old Roll No.
Admit Card: Eligible candidates can download their admit card from the official CBSE website.
Dispatch of original Marksheet/Certificate: Original Marksheet/ Certificate will be sent by the local Regional Office to the residential address given by the candidate in the registration form, by speed post.
For candidates who have given their address of Delhi->Admit Card: Eligible candidate will be able to download their Admit Card from the CBSE website www.cbse.nic.in in the month of February 2020 (Tentative).
Dispatch of original of Marksheet/Certificate: Original Marksheet/ A certificate will be sent by the Regional Office, Delhi to the examination center where the candidate had appeared for the board examination. Candidate can collect the Marksheet/Certificate from the examination center on the submission of the original admit card.
Declaration of Result: Results will be declared on the months of May/June 2020 and also will be available on the official CBSE website.
Issue of Marksheet/Certificate
(a) Original mark-sheet and certificate of previous year examination is not
to be surrendered to the CBSE.
(b) Marksheet of 2020examination will be issued to all the candidates who will appear for the examination in the month of February/March/April 2020 immediately after the declaration of result
Certificate for 2020 examination is to be issued in the month of June/July 2020 (Tentative) only to those candidates who PASSES the examination as per the criteria of the CBSE.
Candidates appearing for Improvement of Performance or for Compartment subjects will be issued a separate Marksheet reflecting only the marks obtained in the said examination.
The consolidated mark sheet will be issued only to such a candidate who appears for Compartment and will pass in the said Compartment Examination in 2019. The consolidated mark sheet will also contain marks obtained in the subjects passed in the previous examination held in March/April 2019 and also the marks obtained in the subjects appeared for at the Compartment examination.
Put a correct combination of your Roll number, School number and Centre number (as given in your mark sheet) of Board Examination (not applicable for fresh female candidates).
In case wrong details are filled the registration form, it will be processed and an error message will display.
A candidate can fill only one application form. In case your registration form is submitted with errors, you are not allowed to submit again.
Name, Father’s name, Mother’s name are auto-generated in case the candidate had appeared in 2019.
The candidate will be required to provide the Mobile number, email ID in the correct format and correct postal address. The phone number should be of 10 digits and should contain numbers only.
Candidates have to upload scanned jpg files of their photo and signature. The file size shouldn't exceed 40kb.
Caution should be taken for indicating the subject code for the languages as there is more number of subjects. For language, the medium code is not required.
CBSE is now accepting fees only through digital payment methods such as Netbanking, Debit/Credit card (both national/ international).
The requisite fee can also be deposited via digital payment methods Netbanking, debit/credit card (both national/ international). No fee will be accepted via offline mode i.e DD/ Postal Order /Money order/ cheque etc. And no registration form is to be accepted without fee.
The fee paid will be updated by the respective bank on the CBSE server within 24 hours of payment.
In the case of bank-related transaction problems of the Fee on the server, the candidates should contact the respective bank through which payment was made. Contact details of Banks are given on the website of CBSE.

Candidates who were not able to clear the CBSE Class 12th regular exams can apply for compartment exams which are to be held in the month of July 2020 (Tentative). Candidates who wish to appear for compartment exams are required to register separately to get a new admit card and roll number for compartment exam.
