Vanguard College was formerly known as the Northwest Bible College and Canadian Northwest Bible Institute is a college offering Christian education, located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Their mission is to develop innovative spirit-filled leaders.

Vanguard College was founded in 1946, as Canadian Northwest Bible Institute (CNBI). After establishment CNBI had only 40 students and 6 staff. The only course they offered was a three-year Bible Diploma Program. In 1965 the college name was changed to Vanguard College.
