Vancouver Island University provides over 120 undergraduate postgraduate programs for students who wish to study abroad in Canada. It accepts direct applications and applications through authorized websites. It also has exchange programs between students.

The candidates can apply through the official website of the university. Few simple steps to be followed to complete the application process:

  • The application form should be submitted
  • Official transcripts 
  • Documents (in English) should be submitted
  • Certificates of 10th and 12th
  • Undergraduate compilation certificate 

The international students submit their English proficiency test scores as evidence.

Undergraduate Admission at Vancouver Island University

For undergraduate programs, 10+2, or its equivalent, with an average of at least a “C” grade. If the candidate does not meet the admission requirement of the university, VIU helps them to upskill themselves so that they are able to qualify for the admission process.

  • Students must have an international visitor or should hold a study permit
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • English Language proficiency tests

Post Graduate Admission at Vancouver Island University

For master’s programs and full-time special students, an appropriate bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, the average of the last two years’ grade should be min “B” grade.

Vancouver Island University Application Process for International Students

Vancouver Island University accepts applicants from well-qualified students from across the world. It qualifies the students based on academic merit. Indian applicants will be required to have the following documents:

  • Attach the receipt of the application fee of $150 which is non-refundable
  • Attach the certified copies of all educational document
  • Original copy of TOEFL/IELTS score
