  1. All applicants are required to present a senior level/Grade 12 English course for admission consideration
  2. All India Senior School Certificate (awarded by CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (awarded by CISCE), State Board Exams with excellent results will also be considered on an individual basis for admissions.
  3. CBSE students interested in programs that require Calculus for admissions, such as business, engineering, and science programs, must present Class XII Standard Mathematics for admission consideration.
  4. English language proficiency test scores not more than 24 months old
  5. Course-specific eligibility should also be met that are laid by the university

Post Graduate Admission at the University of Toronto

The University of Toronto offers over 200 different graduate programs throughout its numerous departments. The admission is very competitive because UoT is the number 1 university in Canada. There are different eligibility criteria but for international students, it is laid down below:

Eligibility Criteria for International Students

  1. College application form with a non-refundable fee of CDN $120.
  2. A bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, with a final-year average of at least mid-B (73-76%) from a recognized university is a must.
  3. English language proficiency test scores of not more than 24 months old
  4. GRE/GMAT does not apply to all courses but mostly to business schools 
  5. Two letters of recommendations for MS
  6. CV/Resume if applicable
  7. Statement of Purpose/Essay 

University of Toronto Application Process for International Students

Admission to the University of Toronto is very competitive and due to this, the chances of selection go down compared to other colleges. The application process for almost all colleges goes in the same flow but the documents that need to be furnished could differ.

  • High school transcripts should be in English or should be translated to English by recognized agencies

Admission Procedure of University of Toronto
